Excellent breakfast spot. The Eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked with a generous serving of hollandaise, & the home fries were nice & crispy. We also loved the creative touch on the pancakes! Great atmosphere & high-quality food. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
I just came from breakfast at shack attack & I am very surprised they only received 4 stars! The service was excellent & were taken care of as son as we sat down. I loved the ambiance that makes you feel like you're on a beach & all the cute details in the decor. The brunch was great, the portions are good but not too much & I loved the selections of different breads to choose from. They even had keto options on the menu as well as gluten free etc! Great place for breaky. Highly recommend!

Very cute place to eat breakfast! I had the Briquet, binquet benedictine, Not sure of the name but it's the one with a sun-dried tomato sauce on top of the hollandaise sauce & it was very good so I definitely recommend that one. On the other hand, I don't recommend getting lattes because mine tasted like water. But yeah overall I would go for the breakfast menu.

First time coming back here since the restaurant changed to Shack Attakk. It's a very popular place. Even though it's a large restaurant, it is always full. You have to line up to get in for brunch. The decor reminds me of a beach restaurant. There are videos of sharks on the wall. Service was a bit disappointing. We were seated over 15min before someone came to offer us coffee. They were quite disorganized but maybe they were understaffed. I found the prices quite high for a breakfast place. I know prices have been soaring since COVID. Most options were 20-24$. I just had the classic egg with sausages. I liked the presentation of my plate & the potatoes were good. Nothing to complain about.
First visit here as I needed a breakfast place that offered a full vegan menu, which it does! Thank you for this!
The resto accepts group reservations until 9:45am so this was a plus for us as we were 12 in all. Street parking was easy & plentiful.
The restaurant is quite big, lots of indoor & outdoor seating (only back area of resto is pictured). Service was good & friendly, food was quite tasty. The only cons were that 1- food presentation could be improved & 2- the portions of some plates were much smaller than those of chain restaurants. The vegan plate was quite large for example as was the omelette plate. On the other hand, the avocado toast plate was very small & not filling - the french toast slices on the french toast plate were measly in our opinion (not the usual full slices we are used to seeing elsewhere, & for $20, we expected more). The ‘fancy’ kids’ pancake dish were a cute touch 😊. I would return but would be more prudent with my choices.
I ADORE breakfast/brunch restaurants & have been to plenty of them however, this restaurant was totally new for me. I loved the decor inside! The food was so delicious! Will definitely go back!

I happened to be in the area & decided to try this place as it seemed right.
it was 11:30 & there were already people waiting to be seated. We did get a table quickly & sat to enjoy a quick meal. First impression is that its way too cold for comfort, but as any good restaurant they listened to our comments & turned the puppy down.
The service was good despite the fact we waited quote a while. Here again our waiter didn't ignore us but instead ably managed our expectations.
The food was delicious. The eggs were well cooked the potatoes were tasty but not overly greasy. My companion had the pancakes which looked terrific & tasty even better with what I gather were fresh blueberries.
both dishes had poached apples. They arrived steaming tender & just enough sweetness to make you want to drink the syrup at the bottom of the bowl.
All in all a very positive experience in a restaurant that was packed & understaffed.
For those other breakfast restaurants I have reviewed you may want to dine there a few times & take away some tips.
This is our family's favourite breakfast spot. Our son even asks for the ''restaurant with the chicken''.
Love the variety, the gluten-free options & quality of the food (not too salty & greasy like some other restaurants). Also, you don't feel rushed when you go, although service isn't always consistent.
If I had one suggestion to the owners, it would be to include the coffee in the price of the dishes….$2.25 extra for a regular coffee just seems too much.
