We arrived at 9:30 PM & were informed that we would need to wait. At that time, we were unaware that the estimated waiting period would be approximately one hour. However, it became evident that there was ample space available on the upper level. After 10:30 PM, the upstairs area was opened, allowing all patrons to enter. The initial one-hour wait for entry seemed unreasonable given the circumstances.
Once we were seated, it took an additional 15 minutes for our orders to be taken. I inquired as to why the upstairs was not opened sooner, to which they responded that only two staff members were available, despite the presence of numerous employees. When I requested water, I was informed that my colleague was filling it & would bring it shortly. After another 15 minutes without water, it was finally provided.
Upon receiving our food, one of the dishes was contaminated. I brought this to their attention, & they suggested I order something else. I insisted on receiving a replacement for the dish I had originally ordered. They assured me that there would be no additional charge for the new dish. However, when the bill arrived, I noticed that I was charged for the contaminated dish, while the replacement, which was not to my liking, was not charged.
Throughout this experience, I sensed a lack of supervision or management oversight. Given the significant investment made in the establishment, it would be prudent to have a designated individual to oversee operations & guide the staff. Additionally, many of the dishes were excessively spicy & oily. I tried the Mandi Alfahm, which did not resemble the traditional Arabic recipe. Furthermore, the prices were considerably higher compared to Indian restaurants in Montreal.
They made alterations to a well-known portrait, which are not favorable.View more
Loved the appetizers. Had almost all the spicy appetizers & enjoyed them all. Gongura chicken curry with garlic Naan was excellent.View more
Alot of choices in the menu! Tried the Mango Magic drink, would have been nicer if it were colder. Otherwise shared 3 dishes, one chicken curry, one mutton bryani & a cheese paneer, all pretty tasty & a bit spicy! We added garlic naan bread which was good.View more
Food is flavorful & spicy! Mutton & curry with naan were the most delicious dishView more
Amazing service, they kept coming back to ask us if we needed anything, the decorations & lighting weren't overwhelming yet looked amazing. The food was excellent, especially if you have a spicy tooth.View more
The place was out of palak, saag, lassi & many other ingredients. The food was extremely spicy & we all had an upset stomach after the lunch.View more

I was missing Indian street style food since few days. Thought of trying something spicy & ordered spicy burnt garlic noodles & dragon gobi. Vah! What a great satisfying meal it was! It was some of the best tasting Indian food I have had lately in Montreal. Kudos to their head chef & other staff.View more
I am happy that I ate good food despite coming late at night. I was particularly happy with the spicy garlic gobi & burnt garlic noodles. They do have vegan options. I would surely recommend to try this place.View more
So full...so delicious... I suggest a mix of spicy with non spicy. & get a mango lassi.View more
I have to say that food is very spicy there. I thought level 2 in the middle would be an in between but that was a level 5/5 spiciness at other restaurants BUT food was very tasty & delicious. I had no problem with the service, our waitresses were great, attentive & suggested a mango drink for the spicy which helped so I definitely recommend it. It was also quite tasty, like mango yogurt. I like the decor too, just if it were my restaurant I would get light dimmer's, it feels like you're walking in a bright hospital hall.View more
I recently visited this restaurant & had a wonderful experience! The cuisine was delightful, & we especially appreciated that it wasn't overly spicy. We mentioned our preference to our waitress, Arushi, who was incredibly kind & attentive. She made sure our dishes were prepared with just the right amount of spices, perfectly suited to our taste. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, & the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food with customizable spice levels. Definitely worth a visit!View more
Our group of five ordered one family-sized Mutton Juicy Mandi & one Spicy Chicken Mandi for takeout. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. Before placing the order, I contacted them to confirm how many people each dish could serve. They assured me that a single Mandi could serve two people & the family-sized Mandi could serve three. However, when I opened the food at home, I was shocked by the quantity. Together, both dishes could only serve three people. The Mandi box & the family pack tray were not even 70% full. Based on the portions, I'd say the family pack could only serve two people, & the single Mandi box was also far from full. At that moment, I wasn't sure if this was a one-time issue or if it happens regularly. I contacted the restaurant to express my concern, but they responded by saying they couldn't do anything about it now & would not repeat it in the future. I had to drive all the way from Laval to downtown to pick up the order, & we ended up having to order from another restaurant to feed the remaining two people. I'm not here to comment on the taste-it was good-but the quantity was utterly disappointing. Due to this experience, they have lost me & my friends as customers. So, before ordering from this restaurant, be sure to take note of the portion sizes.View more
