Step back in time to the retro 80s atmosphere at Sergiolino, a creation of Jacques Gaspo that pays homage to Italian-American classics with a touch of nostalgia.
Chef Sergiolino's journey into the world of Italian cuisine was fueled by his deep admiration and love for his mother, who affectionately called him "Sergiolino," or little Sergio. He dedicated himself to perfecting his craft, all with the goal of impressing her and expressing his gratitude. At Sergiolino, we honor not only his mother, but all caring mothers who put family first, inviting them into their homes with traditional dishes prepared with love and the finest ingredients.

Sergiolino Restaurant delivers a festive, retro-inspired atmosphere that makes it a go-to place for group celebrations and lively dinners. Guests consistently praise generous sharing portions and a menu that works well for groups, with pizzas, pastas and varied mains that feel satisfying and well executed. The decor and music evoke a nostalgic vibe that many describe as stylish and fun, adding to a social and party-like experience. Service is repeatedly highlighted as attentive and friendly, with staff guiding guests through the menu and helping make birthdays and special occasions feel effortless. While the energy can be loud and the space busy at peak times, the overall consensus points to great value, high quality food, and a memorable lively ambiance that keeps guests coming back. Overall, Sergiolino Restaurant is a top choice for groups and celebrations, thanks to giant portions, vibrant atmosphere, and dependable hospitality.
My friends & I recently had a dinner reservation at Sergiolino before a show at Salle André Mathieu. This restaurant came highly recommended, & from the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the beautiful design & the immersive 80s theme, it's truly a stunning space. Our waitress, Rebecca, provided a standout experience with her impeccable service throughout the entire evening; she was attentive, knowledgeable, & genuinely a highlight of our visit.
The atmosphere, however, took a turn with the frequent birthday celebrations. While it's great to see a new local spot be so popular, the music was blasted for at least three or four different groups, making conversation at our table nearly impossible.
We started with cocktails & mocktails, which were well-made & enjoyable. But as an Italian-Canadian, I was most excited to try the pasta. That's because the social media videos made it look like the kind of food that
I grew up with.
Unfortunately, this is where our experience was disappointing. All three of us ordered a pasta dish, & none of them hit the mark. My Gomiti alla Sergiolino had overcooked pasta & a bland chicken Milanese that lacked any real flavor. My friends shared the same sentiment with their dishes, the lobster pasta was also overcooked, & the spaghetti with tomato sauce was so under-seasoned that they had to add chili flakes just to get a hint of taste.
The complimentary limoncello shots to end the meal were a very nice touch, & the chocolate soufflé for dessert was decent.
Ultimately, Sergiolino is a place with immense potential. The service is top-notch, the decor is beautiful, & the ambiance is vibrant. However, for a restaurant of this caliber (& the pricing $$$), the food would need to be elevated to match the rest of the experience. It's not a place I would rush back to for the food alone, but I just hope that they can improve their kitchen because everything else is such a home run!
Took my team of managers to Sergiolino in Laval & we had an incredible experience. The vibe was lively, the food was outstanding, & the service was truly exceptional. Huge shoutout to Sabrina for taking such great care of us - she made the night even better. Highly recommend!

Service impeccable!! Belle ambiance , je retournerais pour prendre un verre… La sauce tomate manque un peu de cuisson, j'ai trouvé que ça goûtait un peu trop acide , mais les pâtes à la burrata/poulet était excellente !
-bruschetta probably the best one i've ever had
- burrata was ok
- ran out of focaccia so they gave us pizza dough which was good but still disappointing
-pastas very underwhelming very basic any home cook can make it better
-service is amazing thank you
- maybe turn down the birthday music slightly so I can eat in peace
-bartender on his phone a lot unsanitary
-weak chairs almost snapped the top of one getting up i weigh 260
-paid 200$ for a 120$ experience
p.s you do not need that much butter to make a cream sauce chef i regretted using the microwave afte

You all went above & beyond to help us celebrate a special occasion. The staff was on point with service. Friendly & VERY polite. Even though it was extremely busy, we received great service.
Great time. Awesome vibe & pizza was delish. We ordered a piccata . Very tasty. I just don't get the whole contorni situation . If we're not in Italy, why do that? Great Italo American menu - im all for it but seriously, chef can't smash some potatoes or grilled veg next to the secondo - i mean youre menu is super generous - you even offer those biscotti with the espresso. So slam some rapinni next to my chicken parm next time . 5 stars anyway . Great experience , grazie
Loved my first experience at Sergiolino. Our waitress Victoria gave us an amazing service from the start, the food came quickly & was very good. Couple shots, well crafted signature Whiskey Sour & a Dirty Martini. Had the bruschetta - pesto ravioli & cheese pizza. Definitely recommend & the ambiance is upscale casual, with a festive touch.
Was not impressed with my return back : was excited to go back but was disappointed. My plate of pasta came 15 minutes before pizzas for my group & half my dish was cold other half hot & not much flavour , very basic. Asked for pizza box & bill cuz was little bit in a rush cuz was going to place Bell for hockey game: waiter only brought the box, no bill , took another 10 minutes before getting it & had to ask again. Found prices little expensive, 170$ for 2 pizzas, plate of pasta & two meatballs.

We went to Sergiolinos on Friday night. We had Michel as a waiter. He made our experience at Sergiolinos. He was awesome! The food was also excellent. Will definitely go again!
If you crave some 80s nostalgia, with just an uplifting vibe, great food & service, a superb choice. Great if you're going to a show. In addition, you get 3 hours of indoor parking for free, so just a pleasant experience end to end.

Service rapide, nourriture bien chaude & excellente. Belle ambiance avec une musique agréable. Bon service avec de bonnes suggestions. L'affogato était délicieux, tout comme le repas. Je recommande !
great time, sadly it's pretty loud & we struggled to have a conversation without practically yelling. aside from that the service & food is always full of flavor & unique
