On our recent visit to Sergiolino, we found the food to be satisfactory, offering a variety of flavors & well-prepared dishes. However, what truly distinguished the evening was the captivating 80's-themed atmosphere & our favorite waiter, Michel.
The restaurant's ambiance was a delightful throwback to the 1980s, with retro decor, vibrant colors, & nostalgic music that transported us back in time. The playful & energetic vibe created an engaging setting that was both fun & inviting.
Michel, our waiter, was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening. His impeccable service, upbeat demeanor, & witty humor made our dining experience truly memorable. Michel's attention to detail & his knack for making guests feel special added a unique charm to our visit.

This restaurant is so much fun & a wonderful experience! The ambiance is amazing!!! They put on a cute little show for my son's birthday! Service is very good & accommodating. The only issue is that we did wait almost an hour for our table but they more than made up for it. Once we were seated & ordered the food, came out with minutes, hot & super delicious! What a great experience! The food was delicious & nicely portioned. The staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. We went for a birthday & it was great how they treat you on your bday (a must see). The atmosphere was awesome with the retro vibe, & lighting to match the decor too. Will definitely go back again & again & again 😂. Highly recommend. You'll have to reserve in advance since it's really in demand. Based on what I had: the calamari were fresh & crispy, the bruschetta was out of this world, the rigatoni bolognese was tasty & the option to get a half & half pizza is well worth the price.

Second time at this retro 80s-90s Miami Vice-era Italian restaurant in the heart of Laval, & it never disappoints! The food & cocktails are absolutely amazing, full of bold flavors & great presentation. The atmosphere is lively-expect a fun, high-energy vibe as many guests celebrate birthdays. I went Sunday for Lunch with a craving for Italian. The menu, I wanted to try everything! The vibe was great, the place is nice, clean, comfortable with lots of attention to detail. My waiter Enzo, absolutely top tier. The food was amazing, everything was perfect. It wasn't that expensive for everything we got. Free indoor parking! 5 stars all day. The attention to detail is insane. All the waiters were wearing white, that's bold imo. Customized plates & glasses, gold trim or everything. Even the receipt was pink. It was a calm afternoon but all staff members were at work, no slacking here. Busboys keeping your glass of water full & table cleared. Barman was dusting light fixtures & doing his thing. The decor & ambience are great- the whole 80's vibe very well done. The service however does not equate. We were an organized party of 25. Took 1 1/2 hrs to get our drinks. Over 2 hrs to get appetizers. One waiter for all of us who had to ask several times who ordered what. Food overall was acceptable, certainly not Montreal standard. This message is for the manager & the lady that served us (Meriam blond lady )Friday night was my friends birthday the waitress was so rude you ask her nicely to change your plate she poses for a second & then said ok I asked her if this drink is virgin? she said a comment like if I serve virgin drink all the time my clients would be children she thought I didn't hear what she said also after I paid I told her I didn't like the service she cut me off & talked with her colleague the resturant is beautiful the vibe is great & another lady waitress called nisrine saved our day by making everything better thank you to her I was so excited for the place but honestly disappointed with the service I our table for 3 coasted275 with a very rude service montreal is full of great service restaurant's this one is not one of them thank you .Voir plus

Here's how things went down! Group of 5, reserved a few weeks ahead of time. Started with the Burrata & Cesar salad. Delicious & the Cesar is made table side! Probably one of the best I've had. Then we had a pepperoni pizza, Gnocchi in vodka sauce & Rigatoni Bolognese. My goodness! Where has this pasta been all my life! Then the piece de résistance... Chicken Limone! WOW! Just awesome! Had the tiramisu for dessert. It came out in celebration!! 🎊🎉 It's all served family style where we can all share. The ambiance is very 80s. The music, the vibe, the people... All top notch. It was my first time at this restaurant last night & it was wonderful, food fantastic had the Gigi pasta delish, & bruschetta yum, atmosphere incredible great music. I also have to add our waiter Allan, which was so great with us. The decor gives a bit of a Miami vibe, which is really great. Beautiful design inside & great outdoor set up as well. Uncertain how this restaurant has so many 5 star ratings. Yes, the decor is well curated & its a fun vibe. But that's about all this place has going for it. Food is over priced & bland at best. Drinks are watered down. Service was super disorganized- waited over 20mins for some water, orders coming out at the wrong time (half the table was given their mains while we still had our entrees). The impeccable atmosphere & décor will have you feeling like you're partying in 1983 Miami. Music on theme, rounded retro banquette seating, branded matchbooks at the door, & rotary phones that actually work! The details showcase the owners' expertise & industry knowledge. Everything here oozes with nostalgia, & we love it! Flawless vibes aside, the food was equally incredible. A family-style, made-to-share menu, every plate comes in two size options. (except the steak & pizza) We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered, but we highly suggest the gnocchi a la vodka. With reasonably priced food & drinks, it's a perfect group outing (like for ladies' night!). We ate way too much & had leftovers on top of it.
