Effectivement, on dirait que nous payons plus pour l'ambiance que pour les plats. Vu les prix, je m'attendais à une petite touche spéciale ou créative de la part de ceux-ci mais pas du tout. Une pizza pepperoni fromage ayant l'air sortie d'un resto normal de take-out coûtant 27$ je ne vois pas vraiment la balance. Les rigatonis brocolis qui baignent dans l'huile & le beurre, ce n'était même plus plaisant à déguster. Aussi, comme si ce n'était pas assez, j'ai gentiment donné 20$ de tip à notre serveuse GENEVIÈVE LAPOINTE alors que j'en devait en parti 9$. Mon ami lui en devait 5$ puisqu'il avait une petite facture & lorsque celui-ci payait par carte, il a effectivement appuyé sur le tip de 20% mais lors du paiement, la machine eu un bug & le pourboire ne s'incluait pas. La dame eu un air assez dégoûté lorsqu'elle s'en est aperçu puis elle nous a tous regardé en disant'y'a pas de tip😬'. Je viens de lui donner 20$. Si les mathématiques ne sont pas trop difficiles, il faut savoir que 9$+5$=14,00 $. Ah oui & surtout demandez de faire couper votre gâteau par vous-même si vous avez un anniversaire, ceux-ci vous chargerons 3$ pour chaque part coupée si vous voulez que les serveurs s'en chargent😓. En tout cas, oui l'ambiance est grandiose mais le service, très bof & la nourriture ne nous a pas du tout épaté. Sauver votre argent & aller chez Gatto Matto.👍Voir plus
Wow !!!! What an amazing restaurant from the time you walk into the restaurant & are greeted with an 80s theme ambiance its already a charming & warming place; just waiting for you to sit down & try there delicious & scrumptious food. From the fried calamari to the most breathtaking & simple burrata & tomatoes with a splash of that delicious & fragrant olive oil; you know the night will progress at a very delicious pace. We were there as a family & chose to take different dishes & share them (Family Style); & let me say, the food did not disappoint. We took the margarita pizza which was cooked to perfection & tasted exquisite; to the rigatoni with sausage & brocoli which was amazing. We also took the veal Piccata which was literally so tender it cut so easily. Those delicious roasted potatoes & of the course the house salad which was excellent because they added so much stuff to it from bocconcini to artichokes hearts. But the star of the show & one dish that should be ordered is The Spaghetti & Meatball; the sauce was to die for & the meatballs were the softest & most extraordinary meatballs I have ever eaten. This is one of the gems of montreal & I would recommend it over & over again, I will be returning soon excited to try new dishes & eat some of the classics once more. Excellent job !!!!Voir plus
What a great experience! The food was delicious & nicely portioned. The staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. We went for a birthday & it was great how they treat you on your bday (a must see). The atmosphere was awesome with the retro vibe, & lighting to match the decor too. Will definitely go back again & again & again 😂. Highly recommend. You'll have to reserve in advance since it's really in demand. Based on what I had: the calamari were fresh & crispy, the bruschetta was out of this world, the rigatoni bolognese was tasty & the option to get a half & half pizza is well worth the price.

This has become our favorite spot, as we've visited many times. We were excited to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday on Saturday, but unfortunately, the pasta was a bit bland this time, which was disappointing, especially with the whole family there. The overall experience is ok. A few home run's but more strikes. Good pizza & good music. Nice trendy place. But certain points should be fixed. More staff behind the bar would offer a better service for table. We were served are food first & waited 15 minutes for are drinks. But the tell us that we have two hours before they flip. So if you flip your tables, make sure your service is ready to go with the flow even on a Sunday. 😉
If a waiter suggest a client a dish saying that it's a banging pizza. He should make sure it is. Not empress at all accept for the crust.
When you serve a table. Don't have a person or two waiting for their food while the other two are waiting to eat & their food is getting cold. Waited 5 minutes.
They should have more experienced staff & not kids working. Even on a Sunday.

The food is good too taste-wise. The cooks know what they're doing. That's for sure.
We were a party of two & we ordered a pepperoni pizza + a big'piccata limone' chicken dish. The issue we had is that the portions for the chicken were not satisfying for two people considering the price.
I ate there in 2024 & a big'Rigatoni poulet épicé alla vodka gratiné' pasta was enough for three people & we had leftovers.
Considering that, I would recommend eating the pasta there instead of the chicken.Voir plus
This was my first visit here & I went on a weekday. Seems that there is a volume management issue here. I could barely hear the person sitting next to me. I can't imagine how chaotic it must be during weekends. The decor & food is good but they are unfortunately drowned out by the loud music &/or singer. There's festive & then there's ridiculous.
The restaurant itself has a cool interior concept. The dining room is very nice & clean, super comfortable seating & well spaced. The bar has a nice variety of cocktails & drinks.
The food is good. The bread is nice & soft. Pizzas are tasty & the crust is good. Pastas are tasty as well. The desserts are just wow. Definitely recommend trying the cannoli & tiramisu.
The Caesar salad tastes great & is super refreshing, might be the croutons but I loved it. The issue I have with this is the table side mixing. I understand that it goes with the 80s concept however they are just mixing an already prepared sauce into the salad. If they were making the sauce in front of us that would be fine. But it's just a gimmick that's taking our waiters away from their actual jobs. So while my waiter is doing the salad show on one table, every other table is on pause to get served.
Speaking of the waiters, boy do they take their time. We waited about 1h between our waiter taking our order for appetizers & then taking the order for the actual meal. It was to the point that everyone on our table was keeping an eye out to call the person over.
This restaurant has a lot of potential, the food is good. The kitchen staff clearly knows what they're doing. However, management on the front end is messing up. Every faux pas regarding volume control was present. & our waiter was mediocre. But the food & alcohol make up for it if you want to go have a family style meal & celebrate the birthday of every single table in the restaurant during your visit.Voir plus

Such an amazing restaurant! Lovely staff & delicious food. We went there to see a game at Place Bell & Mama T took such wonderful care of us! We had reservations 1 hour prior to the game & Mama T ensured we didn't miss the game. Had a wonderful evening at Sergiolino. First time there & the cocktails were good for the price. Great caesar salad, the pickled sardines were a nice touch. Pasta & pizza, you cant go wrong! I had a nice experience at this restaurant overall. The chicken dishes were delicious, & the decor was charming. Friendly service: our server was helpful, advising us on portion sizes & caring. However, one small downside was the hostess's approach. In Montreal, it seems to be a habit for hosts to say,'You have to leave by X hour'-even when there's plenty of time before that hour, which can feel a bit off-putting. The tiramisu was also a letdown. Although it's labeled as being made in-house by the chef, it tasted more like a supermarket dessert. First off, being AMEX-friendly is a huge plus! We had a wonderful dining experience! The calamari, rigatoni Bolognese, & ricotta ravioli were all delicious, & the pepperoni pizza was a standout. The ambiance was fantastic, earning a perfect 10/10. The service was exceptional as well, also a 10/10, with very attentive staff. I highly recommend this place! Gave this spot a second chance after having a not so great first impression (burnt & extremely salty pizza, watered-down cocktails & we got really sick). Maybe it was opening weekend jitters? We went for family members birthday party & the restaurant was definitely not my choice even after repeated warnings. We were a large group of 25+ people. I would say more than half of us were disappointed in the food we received. The majority of comments I got from the group was that the portion didn't make sense in ratio to the price & the extremely loud music playing every 5-10 minutes for birthday cakes was ridiculous. We all left with major headaches lol. It was not pleasant especially when the speaker is just above your table in the corner for the food, one member of the group never even got her meal. The waiter forgot to put her order in & she ended up cancelling her dish at that point because we were all finishing our dishes. I myself got the 30$ plate of Gnocchi a la Vodka for my main. Which was pretty good. Its half size so its meant for sharing for 2 people apparently. The plate has 20 Gnocchi in it. How is this a sharing plate? Make it make sense. All in all, When your bill is over 100$ & you leave starving, there's a big problem. A couple of us made a trip to McDonalds nearby afterwards. Sadly NEVER AGAIN for me with this place. After a long wait to get a reservation at Sergiolino restaurant, we finally went yesterday this new spot feels like Nonna made the food for you. We went to celebrate my mom's birthday , the decor is so beautiful it feels like we went on a vacation to Florida. We were served by Nissrine that did a great job explaining the Menu & sizes of the portions & what's the best sellers & she did not miss, kind, helpful & made sure we got the best experience. The service was a little bit slow but it didn't matter as the restaurant was so busy, lots of celebrations, people enjoying they're evening that we didn't mind waiting for our food a little longer than usual. We got the rib steak that was phenomenal, the side of mushrooms that were excellent, the pizza Bianca that was so yummy , few different pastas & let me tell you the flavour was there, the portions VERY generous . Nissrine made sure we get a taste of their best sellers by getting small portions. I highly recommend to Visit this Gem of a restaurant, if you want to actually eat great fresh ingredients, have a little party, without breaking the Bank. All the Best to the Team. Tout était excellent. L'amaretto sour était parfait. Ça peut sembler un peu cher au premier coup d'oeil, mais les portions sont généreuses & à partager. Alors, laisser votre serveur vous guider. This is a new restaurant that opened in June 2024, located in the trendy Espace Montmorency area in Laval. It is situated right infront of Place Bell. There is limited free street parking, & lots of paid parking underground, however this restaurant waives the fee for the first 2 hours. Just present your parking receipt upon leaving for validation. The indoor parking is genius as it is connected directly to the restaurant via elavator. During cold months or bad weather you can leave your jacket in the car, as you will not be exposed to the outside. We were here on Saturday August 3rd, our group of 5 walked in for a table around 5PM & there was still room. The restaurant was packed by 6PM therefore reservations are suggested if you plan on eating after that time. I randomly saw this place on social media & was intrigued by the decor & concept. You will not be disappointed. The 80's glam & retro color & decor is tasteful & fun. Such a beautiful place to be in, they really went above & beyond with the attention to detail. Flamingo prints, neon signs, wallpaper filled with celebrities & icons from the 1980's era. Leopard prints, pink & greenish blue hues everywhere. Even the natural marble/granite countertop for the bar or bathroom sink area is specifically chosen in pinkish tones, which is something you don't see often in this age. Lots of gold/brass accents, from the door handles to the salt & parmesan shakers - they had unique gold lids instead of silver. There is a lot of booth seating, perfect for groups & outdoor area to dine in as well. The whole aesthetic is extremely pleasing & perfect to catpure photos. I can see how popular this will be for a birthday or special occasion. In terms of food, the menu has something for everyone. Mainly pizzas & pastas, & portions that you can select for an individual person or family sized to share. Our group started with the burrata & heirloom tomato appetizer which was drizzled in balsamic vinegar & oil - this was wonderful & perfect for dipping the complimentary bread in. So fresh & delicious. We then got 2 types of pizzas, the all-dressed & salsiccia, the seafood fettucini pasta dish, spaghetti & meatballs & rigatoni with rosee vodka sauce & chicken. The bread, appetizer & pasta dishes were standout - great portion & flavor. My pizza was lacking cheese & flavor - it was just OK. Seems like they skimped out on the toppings. Service was good, ambiance amazing, food good as well but not oustanding. The closest thing I have to compare the menu to is the "Enoteca Monza" italian restaurant chain. They also serve family sized portions & similar offerings. Most dishes are in the $30 dollar range, the appetizers were very expensive. The family style burrata & tomato dish was upwards of $40. They also have cakes & desserts made in house, save your appetite if you want to try it all. In all everyone enjoyed their experience but certain items on the menu are quite overpriced & pizzas were just so so- when you are paying upwards of $30 for a 14 inch paper thin pizza in a beautiful restaurant, I would expect something a bit more refined. We had a very nice lunch a few days ago. Pizzas for both, cocktails to go with. Service was fine, food was of quality but nothing outstanding as we ordered simple pizzas to be fair. Atmosphere is great so, we loved it ! However, the bill ruined everything. If on the outside it is written in large that service & tips are included, when the bill is delivered, that motto is completely forgotten & the first thing waiter ask while presenting you the machine is... a tip ! I am all in favor of all-included prices (European here). I am all in favor of tips if the service was exceptional. (& it wasn't) But I remain absolutely against this idea of overpricing items on the menu & requesting a tip in the end. That is simply a trick to double-crosd guests. & by the way, even a solid 20% deducted from each item (assuming these as tips) some remain incredibly overpriced !Voir plus
Great new spot! The food is exceptional! It's nice to finally visit a restaurant that gives decent portions & the sharing concept is genius. I especially enjoyed their calamari & if you're a spice lover, definitely try their "Calabria" pizza. Enjoyed a wonderful Cosmo drink as well.
