I was worried about the mixed reviews (many people were saying the matcha wasn't good?) but personally as a picky matcha drinker I found this PERFECT. Not only is it a hidden gem near Lionel Groulx station, but it's so cozy inside, they've got a menu for food & seating suitable for studying & chilling.

I got a strawberry matcha & it hit all the right spots. The strawberry jam was clearly homemade, concentrated & jammy, not a hint of artificial flavours that I hate, it doesn't overpower the matcha, which tastes bright & earthy. Its refreshing, not too sweet, & addictive.

Genuinely my favourite strawberry matcha spot in Montreal, & I've tried many. Will definitely come back.

Deducting point for atmosphere reasons

Tried the strawberry matcha & it was actually really nice

They seem to have changed the layout - although the additional couchs are cute, their positionning are all wrong. Just looking around made me feel nauseous. I get wanting MORE people IN the café, but the vibes arent the same. The previous layout was much better. It made the space breathe more & for me, I don't feel as relaxed visiting - because the music is also obnoxiously too loud.

The employees are always sweet.
The service is relatively fast
Coffee is nice & the matcha was good ( 2nd time experience for match & sav sav's is good )

Probably gonna consider only grabbing to go from now on

We had an amazing strawberry matcha latte! Nice place full of light, fun to study in groups there. But super crowded, wifi cap at 3 hours & a few tables are laptop free!

The place itself is beautiful but the drinks are a bit too expensive & they're VERY generous on the ice (10$ for a strawberry matcha that was 3/4 ice & 1/4 matcha) But besides the price it's a nice place to hang out with friends.

My first time trying matcha! I got the strawberry matcha drink & discovered that I don't really like the taste of matcha lol, but it was ok because the barista was super nice & added a bit more strawberry syrup to my drink, which helped mask the taste of the matcha, so after that adjustment the drink was pretty good!

Food is alright. The sausage tasted like Italian sausage not breakfast sausage. It is also to thick. The bread was not toasted enough. The omelet part was delicious, as was the mayo. Very friendly staff & nice environment. The matcha was very good & had no lumps. It was whisked to perfection.

Went back, upping to 4 stars. The tomato soup is fantastic, full of interesting flavours. Strawberry matcha is delicious & you get a full pitcher. The grilled cheese comes with a delicious lacy cheese crust as well.

[Edit] bumping to 5 stars. Food is now incredible.

Cute café. Gotta know where the entrance is, check their IG. It's got tall ceilings, lots of sunlight (you might act actually end up with the sun too in your face in the winter low sun). Good food & coffee. I got a strawberry matcha (I think it's limited time) & it came in a big carafe so I could have easily shared.

Good spot to read, study, work, catch up with friends. There are some designated no laptop tables even. A cozy couch section. Some 2 person tables. Some communal large tables. I can't recall seeing plugs since I used my laptop battery.
