I've been before & have had their specialty coffees or a classic latte & have never been disappointed, but I went today & tried the hojicha hot chocolate & was super disappointed. It's tasted like a water-y milky, nothing. A slight hojicha taste but otherwise a disappointment for the price, $10 including tip.
We had an amazing strawberry matcha latte! Nice place full of light, fun to study in groups there. But super crowded, wifi cap at 3 hours & a few tables are laptop free!

Looks a lot bigger in person than it does in the photos. Airy atmosphere with high ceilings & tons of natural light. Setup with the cash & the baked goods is kind of odd but you have to respect the commitment to the aesthetic. Was served my for-here iced latte in a little pitcher, which was actually a really enjoyable touch. Meal prices are on the steep end but the food looks super good & I will be back to try. The design of the menus & other branded things is irresistible.
Nice ambiance & friendly staff, but not the best spot if you're looking to study or work - most tables are reserved for dining, & the few available spots with outlets fill up quickly. The matcha latte is excellent: smooth, rich, & generously sized - definitely big enough to share between two people. The breakfast sandwich was just okay; the sausage had a strange herbal flavor that wasn't really to my taste, & overall it felt overpriced for what you get. Great for a quick coffee catch-up, but maybe not ideal for working or breakfast.
the oat latte was great, the barista was very nice. The sandwich upset me. they piled so much cheap ham it kept falling apart. there was more lettuce on the floor than in my stomach. I would go back for the coffee though
J'ai eu un peu de difficulté à trouver par où entrer 😂 mais le latté était excellent & l'endroit est super pour travailler quelques heures. Agréable surprise!
Mussel toast was delicious, although they did burn the toast. The rigatoni was filling. The other food options didn't seem that inspired though. Jasmine Spritz was refreshing. The Kefir Sour tasted like a lemon starburst. Decor is cute but kinda random. Music was good, loved the bits of disco. Our server was great, attentive & friendly. 5 à 7 deal was great
Came here for a lunch date with my husband. Cute atmosphere & the service is amazing. We had the grilled cheese & with tomato soup & Iced Matcha latte was Devine 😋 The coffee was less desirable with a weird bitter taste. The chocolate croissant could have been warmed up. But overall we loved our experience & will be coming back again.

Cute cafe with a bright, airy atmosphere. The big windows bring in a lot of natural sunlight & there are different seating arrangements, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a coffee with friends, or get some work done at the communal table. Music on top of voices can be a little loud at times. Food & drinks wise, got a chai latte & mocha, both very tasty. The food as well was pretty good, we tried the grilled cheese with tomato soup, & the smoked fish sandwich. We wanted a sweet treat & got the chocolate dessert which was rich & decadent (we couldn't finish it).
A true gem hidden in an industrial building. The pink couches, the decor, the surprise doggy friends while you're hiding away from the rain with a warm latte. Everything is delightful!! The outside door is not well marked so just open the door next to a palm tree :)
Il est possible que vous ne trouviez pas la porte menant au Savsav du premier coup. Il est possible que ça vous prenne même quelques minutes &, pour les plus impatients ou découragés d'entre vous, que vous décidiez de rebrousser chemin. Ce serait pourtant une grave erreur (un péché ?). Le Savsav n'est pas un café/restaurant quelconque. C'est un incontournable (& notez que j'évite sciemment d'utiliser ce mot pour les choses qui ne le valent pas). Dans les faits, l'endroit n'est pas tant « caché » qu'il est (très) discrètement annoncé : un petit autocollant bleu vous zyeutant, apposé sur une barre transversale métallique de la porte latérale sud-est du bâtiment. Désolé pour les Indiana Jones & Dora l'exploratrice entre vous qui auriez voulu le découvrir par moi-même, mes pensées vont plutôt à ceux qui ne le sont pas. Je veux leur faciliter la tâche, car... bien que nous fussions extrêmement heureux d'être les seuls à y souper, nous étions quand même préoccupés par l'absence d'autres convives un samedi soir. Notre repas était à ce point sublime... il serait regrettable que les affaires aillent mal, le soir venu, par excès d'introversion. Le jour, on dit que les lieux grouillent de travailleurs & d'étudiants & c'est tant mieux. Voici pourquoi je vous le décris avec tant d'enthousiasme. Au premier contact, le majestueux espace de bois & de briques blanches, quadrillé de tables carrées bien espacées, donne un cachet distinctif & séduisant à la salle à manger. En outre, l'acoustique a fait l'objet d'une attention consciencieuse & la mélodie projetée des haut-parleurs berce chaleureusement nos tympans. La minutie se poursuit jusqu'aux accessoires de table : couverts « servis » dans des boitiers, bouteille d'eau bleue représentant un poisson, chaises confortables... On se sent presque déjà dans un lieu d'exception. Alors commence la véritable épreuve : est-ce que la cuisine sera à la hauteur des attentes ? « Haut » que oui ! Ce sont les coquetels qui s'élancent en premier avec puissance & franchissent la barre avec brio. Il me faut subitement vous recommander les deux champions saisonniers : le « So, joue pas à ça », d'un doux arôme, & le résolument plus parfumé & citronné « Kéfir sour » à base de limoncello. En deuxième, nous découvrons les plats principaux, chacun agrémenté de sa sauce/purée respective, ajoutant une couche de saveurs à des produits frais, tendres & délicieux qui n'en manquent pas. Libre à vous de découper votre commande ainsi que vous le souhaitez, mais permettez-moi d'y aller de la recommandation suivante pour deux personnes dotées d'un appétit aiguisé : Comme premier service : la rillette d'omble (délicatement assaisonnée à étendre sur biscuits soda !) & les asperges du Québec, cuites à point. Comme deuxième service, un peu plus copieux, le bol de salade de tomates & le plat de macreuse de boeuf, à saucer avec de croquantes & moelleuses pommes de terre frites. Après une telle cascade de délices, il n'était nullement nécessaire d'ajouter un dessert, mais la curiosité nous a poussés à faire venir le dallagato (affogato) dont la crème s'était malheureusement légèrement cristallisée & le gâteau des anges. Le serveur s'étant fourvoyé sur la disponibilité de ce dernier, la maison nous a gratuitement offert un riche scone aux cerises & une chocolatine traditionnelle. N'allez toutefois pas croire que nous avons été mal servis, loin de là ! C'est justement cet affable & respectueux serveur à la gestuelle amusante qui nous a si bien éclairés de ses conseils. Notre festin à deux nous a délestés de 170 $ (pourboire exclu), mais notre exagération (sans aucun regret) dans la quantité de nourriture a fait grimper la facture. Maintenant, en toute connaissance de cause, j'espère sincèrement que vous ne renoncerez pas à trouver la fameuse porte, coûte que coûte ! Moi, du moins, je ne ferai pas prier pour y retourner, surtout si c'est pour essayer le menu du midi, plus abordable.
Cute little cafe. I got the grilled cheese & HCMC latte. I found the latte underwhelming but I would try the spot again for the vibe & to try out their other plates :)

Le savsav est overhyped à mon avis, les lattés, que ca soit Matcha à Hojicha, ne goute qu'à peine la saveur, ils sont donc très dilués & peut gouteux. Quant à l'espace les gens sont entassés, quand il ne reste plus de place le matin les serveurs demandent aux personnes seules de changer de place aux tables communes pour laisser d'autre gens s'asseoir & ce même si ces personnes seules viennent de recevoir leur commande, absurde! Tout est très mid, sauf de design d'intérieur.
Really cute place to come & study or to catch up with a friend. Good matcha lattes & their PLT sandwich is really good. They turn down the lights once the sun comes down & light up the candles to create a cozy atmosphere.
I've been coming to this place for months! I found that this is a hidden gem in the Saint-Henri hood. People are amazing, & food is exquisite. All the pastries are fantastic, & the latte is to die for!
