I've been craving & missing Indo-Malay cuisine for years, & having Satu Lagi in Montreal just makes me want to go & feast. So went there during lunch on a Friday & ordered the Nasi Campur - Mixed Rice, Nasi kuning, beef rendang, 1 telur belado, 1 stick chicken satay, a bit of sayur lemak & keropok udang for 32CAD. People will say expensive, but I guess due to rarity for this type of cuisine here in Montreal makes it worth it. & yes, if you want to taste & you miss Indo-Malay food, then come here. The rendang is as good as it get, the satay is more into kicap manis type than the turmeric kunyit variety. The telur belado really has that kick, though I guess they tried to mellow it down a bit for western pallet. What can I say? I can't wait to try their nasi lemak & bakar ikan pari. & hopefully they'll do an ayam penyet🥰.View more
Loved that opportunity to get some really well prepared Indonesian food. This restaurant is gluten free.View more
This restaurant really does the fusion aspect really well. Really amazing flavours hailing from Indo-Malay inspirations.View more
Fried mushrooms is a must. Decently authentic. The people who left poor reviews of brunch aren't used to Malaysian-Indonesian breakfast. Nasi lemak & Kaya toast with almost raw eggs are staplesView more
Amazing food, super friendly service & a vibe that almost feels like you're on vacation!View more
One of the greatest options for Indonesian restaurants in Montreal. 1. Proper portion size. 2. Servers are pretty friendly. 3. Pretty tasty & proper presentation.View more
I'm Indonesian from Vancouver, & i would say this is the best Indonesia-Malaysia restaurant in Canada. The taste & the vibe just like home. Would really recommended for Indonesian who come to Montreal to try this restaurant. Try their ibu-ibu cocktail!View more

View more
Food is excellent, highly recommend! Service was not the best but worth the experience for the food - server didn't know the menu well & didn't get our order correct, but we still had a great meal. Some of the food did come out lukewarm but on a hot summer day this was fine for us.View more
On y retournera ! View more
View more
I wanted to love this place & had high hopes for it after looking at the menu. The cocktails had little to no taste, they tasted watery. They completely ran out of white wine after we ordered. Food was ok but not very warm, felt like it was sitting in the kitchen for a while. Was overpriced for the quality of the food & cocktails. For 200$ per person you can find better options.View more
Miam !View more
View more
Trois entrées Un sambal 2 plats principaux 6 bièresView more
Malaysian here, definitely not authentic malaysian food. 😬 Also note that this is more focus on Malay cuisine which I don't mind. But Malaysia cuisine is very diverse. The description says "peranakan" style curry but my gf & I just got back from penang. This is not peranakan style curry lol. Maybe the owner trying to adjust the taste to fits local tastebuds. But even my Quebecois friend say it was just ok... When my gf went to Malaysia, she absolutely love the food there. From Durian Curry, Nasi Kerabu (blue rice), Hokkien Mee (stir fry thick noodle with dark soy sauce), Roti Pisang (banana roti) etc I will suggest owner or future Malaysian restaurant owner just tone down spiciness & keep the same flavor back from Malaysia & you're good to go. People will rush in like mad. Edit: Don't use cilantro, lime on everything as well. Satay with lime? wut & not even real satay.View more
