A street food style place that provides quick & delicious food, & even a cold beer on a hot summer day.
The Chicken Satays skewers are bursting in flabour, it's tender, well marinated & grilled to perfection.
The sandwich of the day was a pork chop sandwich. It looks sloppy but super tasty.
They has a short selection of draft beers but any of them will cool you down on a hot summer day.
This is a perfect stop during your shopping at Atwater market.View more
I was the Satay Brothers on a blog, & I wanted to try. I was not disappointed! Prices are reasonable & food & drink are delicious. We went on a Tuesday, so there were not too many people at the Atwater market, so we were lucky, & we had a place to sit. Good place to have a bite with friends.View more
Satay Brothers is a Montreal mainstay for me, definitely one of my top restaurants, so i had to take my friends from out of town here. The Atwater location is perfect for a more casual consumption of Satay Brothers fare & today we sampled the satay sandwich & bao (& noodles from another restaurant). No meal out would be complete without a ginger ale & thankfully Satay Brothers is a restaurant of culture that stocks the best soft drink.View more
View more
View more
Great Pad Thai & delicious iced coffee. Love the outdoor dining at Atwater!View more
A few weeks ago, the popular Satay Brothers food kiosk from Marché Atwater opened up a permanent location on a dreary stretch of Saint-Jacques Ouest.
The interior is very simple, cozy & intimate, not to mention tiny. There are three communal tables & a small spot on the bar to choose from, just about enough to seat 30 people at most.
The wall menu, written on a chalkboard, features a few fan favorites such as the satay chicken skewers & steam buns, as well as other Southeast Asian dishes & a section for changing specials.
We went with the Tofu Steamed Buns (a hit), Laksa Lemak soup (a classic!) & Mee Goreng noodles (so-so).
Based on tonight's dinner, we can confidently say that the brothers are still on the right track with their new establishment. This one is bound to be a permanent fixture in the burgeoning Saint-Henri neighborhood.
