Né en mai 2007, Santos est l'expérience bar tapas la plus amusante à Montréal. Ouvert du mardi au samedi, nous nous spécialisons dans la cuisine traditionnelle espagnole et proposons une large sélection d'alcools forts, de cocktails, de vins, sangrias et mojitos. Nous avons des DJs tous les soirs ainsi que de nombreux événements spéciaux. L'espace idéale pour vos 5 à 7, repas intimes ou de groupes, événements corporatifs ou musicaux.

Toutes les rues du Vieux-Montréal sont nommées après des saints. Le local étant situé à l'intersection des rues Saint-Paul et Saint François Xavier, et offrant une cuisine espagnole de style tapas, il était naturel de nommer le restaurant "Saints" en espagnol.

Quant à amuser, nous le faisons tous les jours par l'entremise d'événements spéciaux, notre personnel dynamique, notre décor enchanteur et notre musique.

Honestly, this bar is amazing. Max, one of the staff members, was very attentive & offered us fantastic recommendations for activities & places to visit in the city. Thanks to his suggestions, we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. The atmosphere of the bar is great, & the drinks are delicious. The food surprised me; it's of a really high standard! My beau & I popped into Santos for a drink after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. It was early, so it wasn't so busy when we arrived. We made ourselves at home at the bar where we were welcomed by the bartender, Max. We were there for more than an hour till it became too busy & conversation became a challenge. Max was lovely - charming, engaging & attentive. After a couple of drinks, I asked him to make me a mocktail that would soothe my sore throat. He created a concoction consisting of white cranberry, mint, cucumber, & soda that was delicious. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thank you, Max!Voir plus

Had a beer & calamari early in the night at Santos. Quite a nice & chill place for drinks & tapas. The tapas is not as varied as you would normally see in a Spanish bar, & the prices are definitely on the upper range. The staff are kind & the whole vibe is comfy. Music is not bad. I'll have to visit more to get a better sense of this place at different times of the night.Voir plus

Nous avions reservé une table à 18h30, pour boire un verre & dîner ensuite. Le service s'est fait rapidement, tellement rapidement que mon Cocktail à été débarrassé sans mon accord avant même que je ne le termine. (À 18$ le cocktail j'aimerai pouvoir le terminer). La serveuse m'en a refait un nouveau, ce que j'ai apprécié. Pour nos tapas. 3 fois on est venu nous demander si c'était terminé alors qu'il restait des choses dedans. À 21h la serveuse & venue nous encaisser & nous à demander de quitter la table car elle était soit disant réservée ensuite alors qu'il restait de nombreuses tables, & aucune file d'attente pour manger. On nous as demandé de partir alors qu'encore une fois nos cocktails & notre planche de charcuterie n'étaient pas terminés. Jamais il n'a été mentionné de devoir quitter les lieux à 21h, ni sur la réservations, ni à notre arrivée. Bref, meme si les tapas sont bons, l'impression d'être pressés vers la sortie tout le long ne donne pas envie de revenir ou de recommander ce bar. Tres déçue du service pour le prix que l'on paye.Voir plus

Good luck trying to get a table, when you do, keep in mind that at 10pm the kitchen closes, & at 11 pm the waiter/waitress will come & kick you off your seats because the they want to remove the chairs from the whole bar & the table you tried reserving will not be yours anymore it will be for anyone who orders a bottle, & you my friend with a drink in your hand will have to find another place to put your drink through out the evening.Voir plus

Nous étions 7 dont 3 conducteurs & le manager sur place nous a dit c'était soit 2 bouteilles soit dehors! Eh bien je vous recommande le bar Furco ou nous avons le reste de notre magnifique soirée.
via LibroThis is a great place with a great vibe. One point I would like to share. This is the second time where a reservation was made but we had issues getting in. The first time this past spring we were told that they were at capacity even though we made a reservation & turned us away at the door. We came back two other times that same evening with the same result. This time we made a reservation for 9 & called in advance to move it to 9:30, over the phone we got the reassurance that this would be not an issue at all. When we arrived we noted hesitation by the doorman who not only seemed unsure if we would be let in but also seemed like he didn't want to let us in. The bar was I would say at close to 3/4 capacity once we did get inside. I don't understand.

Why open a bar with good music if we are not allowed to dance ?! Should be mentionned before reservations are made.. you spend hundreds of dollars but are not treated accordingly !

Friendly reception, extremely slow (snail's pace) wait-service; unappetizing, insipid, watery cocktails that take forever to arrive from a bar with 2 bartenders in a small restaurant that's less than half full & the food was not good e.g. the sauce on the tuna crudo was overwhelming yet unremarkable & the bone marrow was under-seasoned & under-done.

Bel endroit avec un band de blues très bon !
Par contre le service était mauvais (nourriture qui arrive tard, le serveur n'était pas intéressé à nous servir, pas de conseils dans le choix des cocktails, trop attendu pour commander un 2eme verre).
& La nourriture était juste correcte.
Avec l'offre de restos/bars à Montréal, je n'y retournerai pas. Dommage.

J'ai fait une réservation par le site web de Santos Tapas Bar environ 2 semaines avant l'événement que j'ai organisé pour fêter ma petite soeur. J'ai bien inscrit sur cette réservation que c'était pour un 18e anniversaire, nous avons même appelé à cet endroit pour confirmer que nous serions plus de personnes que sur la réservation originale & tout était beau. Personne à ce moment ne nous a expliqué que celle-ci n'était pas garantie jusqu'à notre arrivée ni que " votre clientèle du samedi est plus âgée ". Avoir su, je n'aurais pas fait déplacer 15 personnes. À notre arrivée, nous avons eu un accueil vraiment horrible, en plus de nous refuser l'entrée, les deux hommes à la porte ont été impoli, aucunement professionnel & très arrogants. Ne faites jamais de réservation pour un groupe à cette place, je vous le déconseille fortement. Je travaille au service à la clientèle moi-même, & j'aurais honte à leur place de traiter des clients de cette façon.
