Delicious ramen, & even tastier mushrooms! The staff is very friendly, courteous & polite. Average prices between 17.50$ to 19$ for the ramen varieties which is fair considering they are fairly tasty. Also sell a variety of sake, & offer milk tea as well.View more
Delicious & tasty Ramen, i recommend the dumpling starter, delicious, you'll want to get 2, 5 prices to share is not enough! We got SHOYU & TONKOTSU, they were both good in their own way, i recommend the fat noodles over the thin ones, just a personal preference. The service was great, very kind & very fast, good tasting free cold water when you arrive, everything was very quickly prepared & served. Will definitely be back. Don't be turned off by the word "black fungus" these are just mild flavored delicious mushrooms.View more
Really good ramen & zangi. Saki selection was great. Service was brisk but I wasn't wanting for anything. Black Tonkatsu Ramen wasn't the best I've ever had but it was very tasty. Toppings arrived cold. The chicken was excellent. I'd go again. But wouldn't go out of my way.View more

This is the best ramen place in Montreal by far. I had the Tonkotsu Black Ramen & the broth was so flavourful & not too salty, unlike other ramen places. The service was really quick so not much waiting. If you want to try an authentic tasty ramen, this is the place to go.View more
Very tasty ramen & the location is right in the heart of downtown Montreal. My family & I shared everything from the chicken wings, tonkatsu plus & black. The aromatics & broth were so rich. Even on a hot summer day this was absolutely delicious. I could taste the rich truffle oil in my tonkatsu plus. Portions are fair & can be shared. They offer different ramen add ons & drinks as well. The interior was very clean. They had wood accents all along the walls & very high ceilings. Food comes out quickly & you can fully customize your ramen. I saw plenty of people enjoy their ramen alone. Staff were really friendly & accommodating. If you want some authentic Japanese ramen this is the spot.View more
Tried their black garlic Tonkutsu ramen, it's so good so properly authentic.. the soup was tasty but still light, the thin noodle had really nice bite, & the egg was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended 😋😋😋View more
First time eating Ramen! Broth so good! Tasty soup!View more
Very tasty, I wish there were more mushrooms on it & less pork chops.View more
I've been here at least 3-4 times so far & it's quickly becoming one of my favorite Ramen places in MTL. Although I'm more a fan of Kurobuta Izakaya or Kumamoto Ramen.. Sansotei definitely hits the mark for a good more affordable alternative for some tasty umami goodness. I probably would have given it 4 stars & a half if it were an option... The staff is efficient & welcoming but could be a touch friendlier. The menu is somewhat limited but gets the job done & is well-priced. Atmosphere-wise is unfortunately not as cool or Japonesque as other places...it's ok but nothing to write home about...the restaurant is awkwardly medium sized although most of the restaurant seems chopped off due to the insanely huge kitchen area.. the way that it's designed, makes the whole dining area this weird geometric thing... I don't know how to properly explain it... 😆 Sansotei is definitely a winner here & I'll be back for sure!!View more
The ramen was not too bad, delicious pork but I wish the soup was more tasty. Great iced tea & yummy gyosasView more
