Though this particular ramen fell short, the restaurant may still offer a solid ramen experience worth trying.View more
Excellent cuisine very tasty nice portion of porc & noodle, the brooth was not too salty & tasted sweet garlic. The service was bilingual & well done. Will go again.View more
Delicious & tasty Ramen, i recommend the dumpling starter, delicious, you'll want to get 2, 5 prices to share is not enough! We got SHOYU & TONKOTSU, they were both good in their own way, i recommend the fat noodles over the thin ones, just a personal preference. The service was great, very kind & very fast, good tasting free cold water when you arrive, everything was very quickly prepared & served. Will definitely be back. Don't be turned off by the word "black fungus" these are just mild flavored delicious mushrooms.View more
Sansotei Ramen on Sainte-Catherine is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic ramen! The location is ideal, right in the bustling downtown area, making it a perfect stop whether you're out shopping or meeting up with friends. The atmosphere inside is cozy & modern, setting the stage for a great dining experience. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The waiters were super friendly & attentive, making sure everything was just right & offering helpful suggestions. The ramen was absolutely delicious, with a rich, flavorful broth & perfectly cooked noodles. If you're looking for a top-notch ramen spot in the city, Sansotei Ramen won't disappoint!View more
Really good noodles, decent selection, really friendly staff.View more
Broth is rich & noodle is good not too salty I would return to this placeView more
I tried their ramen for the first time at the ramen ramen fes 2024 opening. They had a kiosk & I got the classic tonkatsu. The broth was flavourful, the noodles perfectly cooked, the grilled pork was amazingly tender. Would absolutely go back againView more
The ramen was above average but the bone broth did not seem as rich as I am used to. The noodles were also a little undercooked for me. Otherwise an above average ramen location with outstanding wait staff.View more
Arrived in Montreal on a cold day & decided ramen would be a good call. From all the good reviews I'm shocked that I didn't enjoy my experience. 1) the bowl is small, 2) there wasn't enough broth for the amount of noodles & 3) the noodles tasted like regular al dente spaghetti noodles which was super disappointing & 4) the broth was not piping hot. I've had better ramen. Service & people were nice though.View more
Pretty good ramen with good flavourful broths. Noodles cooked well.View more
The staff was so cute & genuine, I loved the ramen soup with pork & the green sea weed apetizer. You like Noodles & want to see how it tastes in Japan? Sansotei wa oiishidesuyo.View more
Tried their black garlic Tonkutsu ramen, it's so good so properly authentic.. the soup was tasty but still light, the thin noodle had really nice bite, & the egg was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended 😋😋😋View more
I'm being extra picky, but compared to Saint-Bruno the food was a tinny bit less cooked: the noodle were a tad more firm & the pork just less roasted (tonkotsu ramen). The service was top notch, very very fast. I went to eat outside (this july) & it was nice. Though I would love to pay before eating because it wasn't clear if I needed to go inside to pay or wait for the waiter to approach me to do it. At the end of the day I went inside to pay. Very nice! I ate well.View more
Some of the best ramen we've ever had...the broths were full of flavor & great noodles with fresh ingredients, excellent service....the only downside is that seating is a little tight.View more
I wanted a table behind the door because there was a draft coming in the front where we sat. Waitress said no would be busy. I understand, but I was there just when it opened. It's not like full house within the 45 min to hour that I sat & finish my noodles. The noodles were great. Service was great as well. Just would have loved to have something block the cold draftView more
Good food, noodles could be thicker but other than that amazing!View more
Great broth but the guy said the thick noodles were the rice ones but then we all ended up getting egg noodles. Good thing no one was allergic.View more
Broth & noodles always consistent. One of the server Andy provide amazing serviceView more
first sip was spectacular & you wonder what makes it so much better than other places. I came with low expectations because this is a chain but was just amazed at the quality of the broth & the noodlesView more
Ramen is great, broth is good, noodles are chewy. The eggs however were not flavourful enough.View more
The soy sauce noodles are a bit bitter. The best thing about this bowl is the egg inside, the rest is really ordinary.View more
Fantastic ramen. I had the Shoyu, & came back to try the black tonkotsu. Can't go wrong with either of those choices. The noodles have a nice texture & the broth is so flavourful. Definitely a place to try! Suggestion: Go with the thicker noodlesView more
Pretty good. I like the thick noodles & the fried chickens.View more
I don't know why I keep getting my hopes up for good Japanese food in Montreal. Had the black tonkotsu ramen. The broth was thin & didn't have the richness of tonkotsu broths I've had before. The mushrooms & noodles had a weird taste, like refrigerator. Pork was decent but overall the ramen lacked the complexity & richness of flavor I'm used to from better ramen I've had in NYC. Not worth the price.View more
Delicious tonkotsu ramen as always! Super flavourful broth & the noodles are perfectly chewy. Great sake here as well!View more
