Great service all day long.
Roman style square pizza with a great variety of fresh toppings. I love the thinly sliced potato topped slabs.
The lemon-basil Gelato is particularly refreshing.

I've visited Café San Gennaro twice now, & both times were delightful experiences. Their pizza was tasty, but the real standout was their cannolis (the shell was perfectly crisp, while the filling was smooth, creamy, & just the right level of sweetness). All the flavors balanced beautifully, making it one of the best cannolis I've had.
The latte was also well made, & overall, the prices felt fair for the quality you get. The only downside is that seating can be limited, especially during peak hours, so timing your visit matters.
What really adds to the experience is the friendly & welcoming staff, who make you feel right at home. If you're looking for a cozy café with great Italian treats, Café San Gennaro is definitely worth a visit!View more

They need to update the menu on their wall. Even their staff is confused by the pricing of the items. It wasn't fun to be charged more than what I expected. I was told that I still had to pay for the drink in full or have something at the price I expected to pay, even though it was already made, & they could have the drink themselves. It's not a huge deal, but it comes off as disorganized.View more

Decided to try all the flavours they had including the speciality ones. The crust was light & crispy except for the rapini & sausage which was very heavy & greasy. :( The flavours are on the subtle side except for the Margherita which stood out. Their tomato sauce is very good. We also tried the pistachio bombolini & it was sadly disappointing. Dough was too chewy & the pistachio filling tastes oily & artificial. On the service side, staff were very efficient & friendly. The interior is bright & well set up. They also have a very cute outdoor space.View more

Hands down, the best Roman-style pizza in the city! Cornetto is right up there too.
Coffee is back to being superb as well! I won't lie their coffee had me worried a few years ago at it wasn't tasty at all. They seemed to have switched to a better blend which made me very happy!
