Love the vegetarian dumplings, added the peanut sauce on the side. The portion was perfect for one person & they were very well steamed. Great for a winter day.
Sammi & Soupe Dumpling is fantastic! I always order my usual-steamed dumplings with beef & coriander & Wonton soup-& it's always amazing. The dumplings are perfectly cooked, full of flavor, & the soup is comforting & delicious. The staff is friendly & attentive, making every visit a great experience. Whether you're a fan of dumplings or just looking for a cozy meal, Sammi & Soupe Dumpling never disappoints. Highly recommended!

Amazing food!! I was extremely impressed. I may have ordered too much but I ate all of it! Dumplings, fried (pork & cabbage) & steamed (coriander & pork) with a wonton soup!
We went here based on a YouTube recommendation. Definitely worth the visit. Reasonably priced for family of 3. Classic pork steamed buns were incredible!
The dumplings here are delicious. We tried the pork & cabbage ones & the lamb ones & they were both very tasty. There was also juice on the inside of it. So be careful one the first bite. The spicy oil is not spicy at all. So worries if you might see it on the cold peanut butter noodles. However, I find that the noodles were a little too cold & made them a little on the harder side. I had to let them sit for a little bit to warm up & it was a bit better. The sauce only had a slight peanut butter taste. I had the same dish at another one of their locations & it was much better. I would probably not order this from here again. Also their steamer was broken when we were there & we couldn't order any steamed dumplings. Despite all these things, I still enjoyed my experience & I recommend their fried dumplings.
Best steamed dumplings I ever had! Didn't even know I liked them before going to this restaurant! I was however not impressed by the fried dumplings & the starter there, so I'll go back only for the steamed. I also always had to wait for the times I've been there, so you have to be prepared.
My Chinese friend recommended this place. We had pan-fried dumplings because you get fewer dumplings if you choose steamed unlike other dumpling restaurants in Chinatown. There was a long line up with (seemed to be) locals which was a good sign so we called for pick up & ate in our hotel room. By the time we got the hotel, dumplings were not super hot but warm. Dumplings were cooked well, juicy inside & crispy outside - we loved it. I'll certainly try steamed one next time! I highly recommend this place & you should call (more expensive with Uber Eats etc) for pick up & skip the line :)

Loved the dumplings!!! It was intimidating to order 25 dumplings for 2 ppl but absolutely do able!! The steamed pork dumplings were superior to the beef & curry dumplings but that might just be a personal preference!! The service was very prompt!!
When into Chinatown looking for dumplings & I stumble into this restaurant. Hostess sat me right away. Recommend the classic steamed pork dumplings. They were delicious. When receiving them, let cool down a bit because broth inside is super hot. There is an explanation on the table for the dipping sauce. I recommend it! Can't wait to come back & try other flavors of dumplings.
Amazing pan fried & steamed dumplings. Soup dumplings just like in China. If you can get a table enjoy the quick & attentive service - just be ready to be cozy with those sitting around you owing packed number of tables in small space. But well worth it!
Pretty & delicious dumpling spot!! I got chicken mushroom steamed soup dumplings & they were incredibly flavourful & juicy, seasoned well & very filling. On the side I got cold peanut noodles & the portion was extremely generous, it was fresh & also full of flavour. The place was packed when I got there, but the service was amazing & very friendly regardless! I would come back for sure, must visit spot if u are ever in the mood for dumplings! :))
Ordered 1 fried & 2 steamed soup dumplings. The dumplings were hot & delicious! The pork bao was amazing! Beef & coriander was my personal favourite ,the beef curry was a close second! Worth the line-up 🥟🤩
It was good but not great. We ordered 5 different dumplings number 12, 15, 19, 24,25 & spicy & sour cucumbers. I really liked the dumplings number 25 - Beef & Curry. To my taste fried dumplings are tastier, but steamed dumplings are also good & have a delicate, thin dough. I wanted shrimp dumplings so badly, but I was not lucky - Xioa Long Bao shrimp & coriander at number 19 was completely flavorless shrimp. The waiters took to the kitchen to check & it turned out that everything was right - we were served dumplings with shrimps. But it should be noted that for this trouble they brought us Seaweed salad. I liked that. The cucumbers were nothing special to me. but my husband loved it. The prices are great. We waited in line at the door for 25 minutes on Saturday.

The service we had tonight was impeccable. The waitstaff took their time to answer our questions when it was time to order & even recommended us some great dishes. The cucumbers, #17 spicy pork & #32 steamed egg & chives are a must-try!
4.5/5: Fried dumplings come out a bit faster than steamed, though it comes to personal preference, I'd still say traditional steamed dumplings are better. Pork classic is good. Pork, shrimp, scallops is also decent- not minced, can distinguish the ingredients inside. Fried dumplings are drier & sometimes the bottom has greasy bits/burnt. 2 orders seem to be the right amount for a hungry person.
Very good dumplings, we had the steamed & the fried one & it was delicious. Authentic & flavourful, I definitely recommend if you're in Chinatown to go there for dumplings. Fast service, great ambiance.
Easily one of the best restaurants in town when it comes to soup dumplings. We enjoyed both the steamed & pan fried soup dumplings. Both have perfect texture & a great balance of soup & filling. The prices are more than reasonable. A great ambiance overall, definitely has the Chinatown vibe but with a modern touch. The staff is friendly & the service is prompt & efficient. The combination of steamed dumplings that stood out the most for me would be the Pork & Coriander as well as the Sweet Pork, however there has not been a single flavor that I've disliked at this particular restaurant.
The dumplings are good but lacked a sauce to go with it. They give chili oil, soy sauce, & vinaigrette but the chili oil wasn’t spicy. The wait for pan fried dumplings was also much longer than steamed.
