We had amazing service & the hosts were super accommodating. The ravioli & mafalde were to die for & beautifully presented. My nieces haven't quit talking about how good it was.View more
Very good small restaurant with handmade ravioli & authentic food. Nice find just to the side of the busy strip.View more
Amazing ravioli. Love the depth of flavour. Also great serviceView more
An amazing find in Old Port! The food at Salumi Vino is absolutely delicious, with pasta cooked perfectly al dente.
The arancini tasted perfect & the beef ravioli will satisfy any cravings for a stuffed pasta. The mushroom sauce for the ravioli was great but the large mushrooms in the dish became a bit too much even for a mushroom lover like myself. However, the ravioli itself may be the best I've ever had.
The gnocchi was a standout as well. The owner Mario takes great care of his customers & he's created a wonderful ambiance. Already planning to come back next time I'm in Montreal to eventually make my way through the entire menu!View more
Great gem of an Italian food, ravioli & meatballs were very delicious as well as the zucchini mozzarella. Tiramisu was good but not traditional more cream than mascarponeView more
This is the real deal. Been all over & rarely did I have the experience I had here. The owner personally takes care of all the clients & is extremely passionate about his food & rightfully so. The wine list is impressive. The meatballs & eggplant parm are just like our nonnas used to make. The gnocchi were divine & the ravioli were to die for. Their tiramusu was another show stopper. The wine recommendation was perfect. I felt like i was traveling back to my chldhood with the food, hospitality & ambienceView more
If you are looking for delicious authentic Italian food in Montreal, this is the place to go! The dining area is small but intimate & the service was attentive. We ordered the fried calamari & arancini for appetizers & the Cavatelli con Provola Affumicato, Ravioli con Manzo, & Gnocchi Tartufati for our entrees. The pasta was all homemade & my sister said the gnocchi was the best she's ever had (& I agree). The sauces were also fresh & full of flavor. The sauce on the raviolis is worthy of a special mention; it was almost gravy like & the mushroom wasn't overpowering. My only complaint is that I didn't save any room for dessert! I will definitely return to this hidden gem the next time I am in Montreal.View more
Cute little place in Old Montreal. We got the arancini to start, good taste but it was cold in the middle which was unfortunate. The sauce also came cold, on purpose for some reason. We had the ravioli & mushroom pappardelle, decent portions for both dishes but nothing special. Bit pricey for the overall quality of food. Service was professional & pleasant. Wine selection was good. We didn't try dessert. Overall, we'd give a 7/10. Happy we tried it but likely won't come back.View more
Braised beef ravioli is so good! As are the Arancini. Every time we go, we always have excellent service as well. Love this place.View more
It's all about the food, or the wine, or the friendly service, or the tiramisu...I just can't decide. What a wonderful evening with Mario & crew, from the arancini & meatballs to the tuna & beef ravioli entrees; enhanced with a lovely Zinfandel & topped off with house made tiramisu.View more

I am so glad I chose this for our first Montréal dinner, as it was incredible. We shared the Caesar Salad & Meatballs, which were so good, we ate every morsel. I ordered the Gnocchi with Black Truffles & it was amazing...soft handmade pillows in a creamy Truffle sauce! It was so filling, I took more than half of it home with me. My husband had the Ravioli, which was different than any we've ever had before. Each Ravioli was filled with braised beef & in a rich porcini mushroom "gravy". We had a nice table & our server, who I assume is the owner, was very nice. We'd return in a heartbeat!View more
