Fantastic cozy experience. Understated plating highlights the care & attention to each ingredient. The team here clearly cares about an enjoyable dining experience & I'd highly recommend stopping by.
Plats bien élaborés. C'était super bon ! Service weird, apathique. Aucune carte de vin (ce qui n'est pas un problème en soi), mais nous nous sommes faits suggérer des vins à 100$ sans description par notre serveur. Pas de description des plats non plus. On dirait que ça lui tentait juste pas d'être là. Dommage, car la cuisine a vraiment assuré!

Brendan & his team made this such a wonderful & fun experience! The food is so good, I was solo & ordered the half portion of salad twice (!) Don't miss if in Montreal!
There is a humble quality about the ambiance & the dishes. The presentation was not pretentious & most importantly the dishes were delightful to eat. The staff were also welcoming & warm.
To Brandon & his incredible team what a wonderful dining experience we had at Salle Climatisee! From the exceptional hospitality, to the expert wine pairings & certainly the world class food experience. The poached leeks were like a surreal sushi roll, the boiled cabbage with its magical seasonings & the Berkshire pork loin were stunning each in their own way. Bravo - a true Montreal dining gem worthy of a visit. Or many visits!

La nourriture était tout simplement délicieuse! Le service était attentionné & nos serveurs ont été super généreux. Le vin était également délectable. On sera inévitablement de retour. Merci!
Tous les ingrédients d'une soirée agréable étaient réunis : un équipage de bonne compagnie & discret, un menu court & maîtrisé - axé sur les légumes -, une ambiance bon enfant & décontractée au sein d'un décor sobre & tamisé. Une soirée où les succulents plats défilaient (sans toutefois connaître de point d'orgue avec les desserts) : poireaux à la sauce aux graines de tournesol, tartare de boeuf (dont le goût ressemblait exquisement à celui d'un bon hambourgeois), chou brûlé parsemé de cheddar, truite d'une tendreté inouïe, radis vinaigré... Une soirée somme toute peu fertile en événements proprement spectaculaires, mais qui répondait bien à l'impératif de la détente. Nous sommes arrivés un peu avant l'heure d'ouverture, à 16 h 55. Au constat de la porte déverrouillée, j'ai gravi avec hésitation la marche qui menait au plancher principal & j'ai glissé ma tête par le rideau isolant pour demander à l'employé - s'avérant être le serveur de notre soirée - s'il était possible de s'asseoir à l'intérieur. On nous avait attribué une place au bar &, à notre grand plaisir, les tabourets en bois avec leur dossier étaient d'un confort exemplaire. Ma partenaire de table préférant limiter les interactions au restaurant, j'ai contenu mon élan jaseur & curieux habituel &, en deux heures, je crois avoir limité ma production orale à moins de 200 mots, y allant de quelques observations sur le méticuleux travail des chefs auquel nous assistions. Le copieux souper à deux nous sera revenu à tout juste un billet marron par tête, excluant le pourboire. Je laisserai aux photos que j'ai croquées le soin de complémenter ce texte en vous exposant le cachet distinctif de la Salle Climatisée (& aussi chauffée) que j'ai tant apprécié. Voici donc une autre table qui contribue au rayonnement culinaire de la métropole.
Un vrai 3/5... La nourriture était ok sans plus... Le prix était assurément dans la portion haute de la fourchette... N'allez pas au premier service on souhaite se débarasser de vous... Le serveur aux lunettes = carton rouge... Allez ailleurs vous en aurez plus pour votre argent & en passant l'accès aux toilettes avec les manteaux lol on arrive à peine à s'y rendre & fermer la porte... Il faut revoir ça...
The food was a huge wow, every plate was meticulously crafted & delicious. I can be a picky eater but even the things I wouldn't usually like were 10/10. The staff was helpful & attentive to detail & gave great recommendations. Very cute restaurant but we had cramped seats on stools in a corner looking at the wall.
We really enjoyed the light meal we had here before a show. Tried a couple of very interesting wines by the glass suggested to us. The starter dishes were very vegetable-focused which suited us. Everything was very fresh & the service was excellent. Casual, small & comfortable spot.
