The Saint JJH&CAFÉ is the perfect meeting of retro and antique. Your eyes will easily get lost in the immensity of details that we have disseminated in this space where materials, furniture and objects were once destined to be abandoned, but now live a beautiful second life.

Wow! Personnel super sympathique, ambiance parfaite pour travailler ou étudier & la place est juste magnifique! Les cafés & les différents plats sont excellents, mais je recommande fortement le cheesecake (Corrina's cheesecake), probablement le meilleur que j'ai mangé :) Je reviendrais définitivement!
Saint JJH Café is truly unlike any café I've ever been to. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that everything, both the food & the coffee are made with genuine love & intention. My boyfriend & I have been loyal customers ever since we met, & this café has become our place, a constant in our relationship & a space filled with memories! Literally the best cafe I went to. Since day 1, I have been obsessed with this place. As a picky eater, they have exactly what I need & what I want. I love the staff, the drinks, the foods & the ambiance of the place. It is a great place to study, talk to friends & do really anything. I would recommend this place to literally anyone of any age. My favourite little cafe in Montreal. This place is a neighborhood gem, the sort of quaint & cozy spot that becomes a regular with your friend group & where the owners know you by name. The service is always so lovely - everyone that works there is always so kind & warm. It's got an eclectic, moody vibe with lots of cute seating in all these little nooks, cool artwork & the best music playlist. The food is made in house & between the unique quiches (my favourite), Greek pastries, cakes, cookies & hot breakfast options (the pesto omelette is so good, & a great portion for the price) - you won't go hungry. Having saved the best for last, let's talk about their coffee : the best latte I've had in a long time. Deliciously creamy & perfectly balanced. They make such great coffee, I find myself returning to this place with embarrassing frequency. If you are ever in the area, make sure you give this place a try - well worth the visit!

It's the best café/brunch place in Verdun, with the best atmosphere, music, coffee & best desserts!! I love going there honestly one of the best cafes in MTL area.
What a gem of a café! The atmosphere is really unique, the music is always on point, & the coffee is stellar. To top it all off, they have some Greek pastries like tiropita & spanakopita! What more could you ask for?
Café magnifique tant par la décoration que par les excellentes pâtisseries & le personnel adorable ! Ce n'est pas la première fois que je viens & je suis toujours agréablement surprise ! On s'y sent à la fois comme à la maison & comme dans un décor de Friends ! Je reviendrai, ça c'est sûr ! 🥰
Un de mes cafés préférés en ville ! Les boissons & pâtisseries sont délicieuses, & que dire du décor somptueux. Mention spéciale pour les biscuits pour chiens quand on prend à emporter :) Juste penser à demander le type de lait souhaité, mais sinon c'est parfait.
L'endroit a une belle atmosphère, mais les prix - introuvables avant de payer - sont exorbitants. Belle surprise à la caisse ! Peut-être est-ce la raison pour laquelle le lieu était désert, un samedi matin à 11 h.
Mise à jour : C'est bien dommage que le propriétaire, au lieu de considérer les commentaires sur son restaurant comme un cadeau & une occasion d'examiner ce qui pourrait être amélioré, préfère attaquer, critiquer & me dénigrer.
Il agit comme si je ne savais pas distinguer une pâtisserie d'un plat principal & voudrait aussi me faire croire qu'il y a eu un énorme coup de feu… qui se serait mystérieusement volatilisé en plein pic du brunch, un samedi matin.
Les prix, eux, sont tout simplement insultants : 6,33 $ pour un cortado qui coûte presque deux fois moins cher dans un café avec un meilleur barista, & 23 $ pour une simple tranche de pain recouverte de guacamole.
À aucun moment, je n'ai reçu de menu avec les prix. Tout est affiché sur un mur, sans tarifs indiqués, avec un menu posé en évidence… également sans prix. Vous comptez sur la gêne des clients, qui n'oseront pas demander, & qui paieront une fois l'addition présentée.
Mais à ce stade, ce ne sont pas seulement ces tarifs exorbitants qui me dissuadent de revenir : c'est surtout l'attitude agressive du propriétaire & son incapacité à accepter la moindre critique.

I got a iced strawberry matcha & it was the best I have ever had! The atmosphere & vibe is really amazing too. If I lived here I would go to this cafe every day. I highly recommend.
Un excellent endroit pour se détendre en fin de semaine! L'ambiance est agréable & apaisante, parfaite pour un moment de détente. J'ai particulièrement apprécié mon repas qui est combiné par la crêpe, la fromage à la crème & le cheesecake dedans, des douceurs gourmandes qui sauront combler les amateurs de sucré. Accompagné d'un cortado bien préparé, c'était une belle découverte tant pour les desserts que pour la qualité du café. Une adresse à revisiter sans hésitation..
Aujourd'hui je suis retournée & le cocktail fait à maison est bon! 😺
