We went there for a quick late lunch. Ordered lamb biriyani, chicken vindaloo, naan & gulab jamun. The biriyani was very good in both taste & presentation wise. I would have liked the chicken vindaloo to be more spicy as traditionally this is a spicy dish. It tasted more tangy rather than spicy. The nan was ok but small compared to naans at any other restaurant. The papadums were cold & didn't meet the expectations at all. The highlight was the gulab jamuns. They were hot, soft & fluffy. They were the best gulab jamuns I had recently. The service was excellent. Definitely recommended if you are craving for some delicious desi food.Voir plus

I have been going to Sahib in point Clair for many years & really enjoy the food. Being local & Dorval I had been waiting for a long time for this went to open. The first time I went I was planning on eating there & upon walking in one of my family members Could not handle how loud the place was. We ended up doing takeout & enjoyed the food. We recently went back & turned down the music a little bit & it is a more relaxed atmosphere now & so we Aiden & we were totally satisfied with every aspect of our visit. The food was delicious & the atmosphere was good. The staff was pleasant & professional. We will be returning. It is not in the options below, & we also had the lamb vindaloo, which is delicious. It is very spicy for restaurant level spicing, so be aware if you do not like extreme spice.Voir plus

via LibroExtensive menu, excellent food most of it very spicy, prompt, attentive & efficient service. The 10% discount coupon was quickly accepted. Our confirmed reservation for Saturday had mistakenly been put down for Friday. I showed them the printed reservation & we were given a table with apologies. Our table for two was very small with only barely enough table space for the dishes & the chairs were uncomfortable. Overall the dining experience was positive.

If you're used to Indian food, you will not like this place. The butter chicken was in a tomato sauce , very bland & not at all spicy as requested . The shrimps are not 16-20 as stated... They were tiny & very over-cooked. The lentil dish was very bland as well. We had to add sauce from our fridge to make it better.
The service upon pick-up was terrible.

I had high expectation & I was a little disappointed. Not because of anything they did, or didn't do.
I was hoping for vegetarian dishes. There was a wonderful variety of dishes. Everything smelled amazing.
The only criticism I have is that everything was too spicy, as in the heat, not the flavours. The heat was a single & slightly camouflaging note across most dishes, except the butter chicken, which tasted beautifully buttery. If you are not a fan of spicy heat, this place isn't for you.
The staff were friendly & attentive. The atmosphere is fine.
We went for a late lunch & they were already getting ready for a busy evening with a full house.
I believe the diner menu may be different.
I think this is a place that requires another visit to see if it's different or consistently spicy.
