Afficher toutindian(41) buffet(35) chicken(24) lunch(19) dishes(16) recommend(13) butter chicken(12) spicy(10) quality(10)Excellent service from the moment you walk in, amazing flavour, portions & freshness with every dishes we ordered (lamb vindaloo, okra, dal mahkhni etc). I would recommend it to all foodies & anyone that wants to venture into spice world. Very pleasant experience overall! Enjoy!!!
The server was very kind, accommodating & very patient with us. All of the dishes we ordered were enjoyed by everyone at the table. Will definitely come back again & I recommend to anyone who has an interest in Indian cuisine!
Extensive menu, excellent food most of it very spicy, prompt, attentive & efficient service. The 10% discount coupon was quickly accepted. Our confirmed reservation for Saturday had mistakenly been put down for Friday. I showed them the printed reservation & we were given a table with apologies. Our table for two was very small with only barely enough table space for the dishes & the chairs were uncomfortable. Overall the dining experience was positive.
I had high expectation & I was a little disappointed. Not because of anything they did, or didn't do.
I was hoping for vegetarian dishes. There was a wonderful variety of dishes. Everything smelled amazing.
The only criticism I have is that everything was too spicy, as in the heat, not the flavours. The heat was a single & slightly camouflaging note across most dishes, except the butter chicken, which tasted beautifully buttery. If you are not a fan of spicy heat, this place isn't for you.
The staff were friendly & attentive. The atmosphere is fine.
We went for a late lunch & they were already getting ready for a busy evening with a full house.
I believe the diner menu may be different.
I think this is a place that requires another visit to see if it's different or consistently spicy.
I have gone to this restaurant on two occasions for the buffet on sundays first time the food was delicious the service not great but decent enough to not be remarked upon. I put it on my do it again list...second time the food was good but the naan had not been replenished ..the padoras had sat just a lil too long but what really shone was the awful awful service our water did not get refilled at any point, the dishes just sat there for our whole meal we had three plates each so we decided to just stack them up..we were also not the only ones people left & their plates just stayed there ..it was odd because there was alot of waiters & servers around who were not doing much but looking bored. YES they have good food for the most part (although the selection is quite small) but eating out is more than for the food its for the experience & for the price this cost i rather have saved my money gone to many of the other great indian restos in the city.
We had an excellent dinner at Sahib. We ordered the appetizer sampler which was delicious. We also ordered samosas, which were ok. For the main course, we ordered a variety of dishes to share: chili paneer, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, lamb korma, rice & naan bread. Although the tandoori chicken was dry, everything else was wonderful: seasoned & cooked to perfection. The mixture of flavours is always amazing at Sahib. The service was also very good, even though there was a large group celebrating a birthday.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It might seem pricey for Indian food, but the quality is great.
I eat regularly & always at lunch. I enjoy the buffet the steady stream of customers makes sure there aren't too many leftover dishes.
You can get in & out in 25 minutes with a full stomach of fresh food although I could not swear this is authentic Indian fare.
I've never visited this restaurant as I've always had delivery, but the food here is really good. The prices aren't bad so I have had an assortment of dishes from this restaurant e.g Lamb Vindaloo, Fish Korma, many tandoori dishes & my son who could eat nothing but Butter Chicken swears that Sahib makes the best Butter Chicken.
You may remember I wrote about an over spicy takeout dishes (korma & Biryani) both that are supposed to be mild. The owner was very polite & called us back to address our bad experience with Sahib. The normal chef was not there & the chef that week had been making dishes spicy even the mild ones! He has given us $30 toward our next takeout. Our faith is restored in this great restaurant & we will continue to eat there & order takeouts.

Ate here with some good friends. We found the dishes were hit & miss. Some were very good (moreso the chicken plates), others very average.
We had one beef dish that was overly chewy. The naan bread & lentil soup were above average. The service was ok.
I found it strange that the restaurant closes at 10pm on a Sat. by 9:30 we were the only customers left & we felt some pressure to leave so they could close up. Bottom line, I would dine here again because of the proximity & some top notch choices. Also, relatively inexpensive. Happy Dining!
Our group was really impressed by the quality of ingredients used at Sahib. All our dishes were great & service was attentive & courteous. The restaurant has a large dining area at the back & is perfect for group parties. Very good value for your money. We will definitely be returning soon.
This restaurant has a great lunch-time buffet at an excellent price!
The best part is the buffet choices are always changing so it's a little different each visit.
Some dishes are spicy for the Indian aficionado, other's mile for those who are a little timid.
