We had lunch buffet here & it was a nice, quick, tasty meal. You have staples like butter chicken, tandoori chicken, chickpeas, beef curry. The quality isn't as good as the order menu, but I wouldn't expect it to be. The naan bread here is so much better than the Dorval location à la carte version. The food is always fresh & there's a decent range of items on the lunch buffet. As enjoyable as ever.
I have gone to this restaurant on two occasions for the buffet on sundays first time the food was delicious the service not great but decent enough to not be remarked upon. I put it on my do it again list...second time the food was good but the naan had not been replenished ..the padoras had sat just a lil too long but what really shone was the awful awful service our water did not get refilled at any point, the dishes just sat there for our whole meal we had three plates each so we decided to just stack them up..we were also not the only ones people left & their plates just stayed there ..it was odd because there was alot of waiters & servers around who were not doing much but looking bored. YES they have good food for the most part (although the selection is quite small) but eating out is more than for the food its for the experience & for the price this cost i rather have saved my money gone to many of the other great indian restos in the city.
We are actually eating now at sahib, my bf & i must say the food was good. I liked their dessert gulab jamoon as it was warm & soaked freshly on a sugar syrup! Most of the indian restaurants i tried with my bf.. Their gulab jamoon was cold & i didn't really appreciate it when it's cooked that way. Rice pudding too was nice & my all time favorite buttered chicken is definitely yummy! They prepared it really well even though it is a Sunday buffet like, right now. The fact that this place is packed of people only means the place has something to offer. Good prices, courteous servers. On the downside, the sizes for deliveries are quite small. Nevertheless, food is tasty! Service is appreciated!
Mon resto Indien préferé, buffet abordable le midi & nouriture d'excelente qualitée à la carte le soir. L'agneau & le saag paneer sont des incontournables. A mon grand bonheur ils font la livraison dans le West-Island. :)
Si vous désirez une bierre passez votre commande en anglais ou prenez les devants, sinon les serveurs sont parfois un peu déroutés avec le francais & hésitent à nous demander si on désire quelque chose. A noter que ce coté s'ameliore avec le temps. La nouvelle disposition du buffet aide beaucoup sur le temps du midi.
We tried this restaurant after a friend told us about it. We ordered to take out & it was delicious. They give you a very generous portion & it's excellent. Next time, we will try their lunch buffet.
I've been there for their lunch buffet twice in a week as the buffet spread is quite decent. With our favorites like butter chicken, Tandoori chicken & samosa, it was hard to go wrong. However, I was surprised while going through my receipts that I was actually charged differently on these 2 occasions for the same number of people . Their charging method is suspect.
We were at sahib today after it reopened after renovations & were very dissatisfied with everything. The buffet area has become too crowded. There was atleast 4 items finished from the buffet & no one cared to replenish them. Service was very slow & poor. The staff was moping floors & I actually witnessed one person slipping. The cutlery was missing from the table. The food itself was not upto the mark, it used to be much better before & we loved to go there. Until they improve their service & food, we are not going back there again.
I eat regularly & always at lunch. I enjoy the buffet the steady stream of customers makes sure there aren't too many leftover dishes.
You can get in & out in 25 minutes with a full stomach of fresh food although I could not swear this is authentic Indian fare.
Très bon restaurant indien, le buffet du midi est très pratique, bon, avec suffisament de choix de plats. Seul le service laisse à désiré, personnel sympathique & serviable mais unilingue anglais malheureusement.
Tres bonne nourriture indienne.
Surtout le midi pour le lunch avec un beau buffet si vous aimez le poulet bien sur car plusieurs plats sont a base de poulet.
Tout est frais & bon.

It was love from the first time in 2001 & it's been our favourite ever since. While the lunch buffet may not always offer what we want as we love spicy & the buffet is mild, the dinner menu is absolutely fabulous. We have been to India, Indian food is our favourite & we can taste it in Sahib. You can see the dry chillies in the curries!! Just like in India. It doesn't really matter what you order ... chicken, lamb, beef or pure veg, it will be excellent. Please keep on mind that Indian food doesn't really go well with any wine & since Indians in general are not big wine connoisseurs .. you are better off sticking to beer. Just like in India.
Le buffet du midi est tout bonnement une des meilleures aubaines du West Island à mon avis: 9.95$ pour une nourriture d'une qualité plus que surprenante pour un buffet, un environnement agréable & confortable, un service très correct.
Le poulet tandoori est très bon, ainsi que le pain naan. Ce qui est également très intéressant, c'est que l'assortiment des mets varie régulièrement, alors on peut faire des découvertes qui enchanteront nos papilles, ou simplement profiter du changement pour les habitués!
En définitive, adieu le fast-food à 7-8$ pour le lunch: pour 2-3$ de plus, vous pouvez déguster un repas d'une qualité de beaucoup supérieure, dans une variété & une abondance telle que pour 9.95$, on ne peut qu'attendre la prochaine occasion d'y retourner.

Some dishes are spicy for the Indian aficionado, other's mile for those who are a little timid.

Indian colleagues from India say that it is juts like their mother's cooking + better than any restaurant, even in London UK.

One of the fortunes of working in the West Island are executive lunches at Sahib! The buffet is always fresh & tasty, the service prompt & friendly, & the surroundings are warm & exotic...ditto all the above for their dinner menu. I can honestly say that I have eaten here not less than fifty times!
C'est un des meilleurs resto indien en ville. Il faut l'essayer. Pour les neophytes, essayez le buffet du midi beau,bon, pas cher. C'est une occasion de découvrir des saveurs d'ailleur...
La nourriture est épicée à point, les proprios vraiment sympathiques & accueillants. Le décor est charmant & de plus, c'est très propre.
Vraiment, un de mes resto favori !!!
