Afficher toutindian(41) buffet(35) chicken(24) lunch(19) dishes(16) recommend(13) butter chicken(12) spicy(10) quality(10)Food was delicious & fresh, atmosphere & tidy place if you crave for indian food in Pointe Claire. But the servers weren't friendly at all, I didn't see smile on their faces. When I paid the bill, the server told me I must pay tip & he wasn't seem be happy when I didn't pay the tip. I left the restaurant with bad taste.Voir plus
It is a top 3 Indian restaurants I have ever been to. The food, service, & atmosphere are all high-quality. The Vindaloo will knock your socks off.Voir plus
We stayed art a hotel nearby for our vacation in the city & got food here to go. Nice food & recommend if you are looking for decent Indian food.Voir plus
This one is for owners. I don't know what customer base you are targeting, indian food items seem modified for Montreal. I was hoping to get some more indian.Voir plus

Impeccable service, food so delicious that my friends, who came for the first time, raved about it. We will go back & recommend to our friends who are looking for a very good indian food restaurant.
Very good service with very less spicy Indian food. Must try...
Impeccable service, excellent food! Presentation & quality of food is top class!
Superb food & service! Authentic Indian cuisine. Delicious & generous servings.
The food, service & hospitality is excellent. We go frequently to treat ourselves to authentic Indian food & have not been disappointed.
The staff is very attentive, friendly & helpful.
We can highly recommend Sahib for your next dinner out.
The server was very kind, accommodating & very patient with us. All of the dishes we ordered were enjoyed by everyone at the table. Will definitely come back again & I recommend to anyone who has an interest in Indian cuisine!
Sahib is the best Indian food restaurant in the Montreal region by far! Everything you will choose on the menu is just unbelievable! You want to have a great meal you have to think Sahib.
Take out.
If you're used to Indian food, you will not like this place. The butter chicken was in a tomato sauce , very bland & not at all spicy as requested . The shrimps are not 16-20 as stated... They were tiny & very over-cooked. The lentil dish was very bland as well. We had to add sauce from our fridge to make it better.
The service upon pick-up was terrible.
Never going again.
Definitely at the top of my list for Indian food.
Quality is excellent, the lamb was awesome!
Went for supper & it is dimly lit, fairly quiet & the waiter doesn't pester you, so I'd recommend it for a romantic date.
Cost for 3 of us (no alcohol) including tip & taxes was around $80 & we brought leftovers home.
Very satisfied. Will be back!
Really impressed with this place. Clean, could be casual or fancy & food is excellent. Great selection. They have all the Indian staples. I will definitely go back!
I have gone to this restaurant on two occasions for the buffet on sundays first time the food was delicious the service not great but decent enough to not be remarked upon. I put it on my do it again list...second time the food was good but the naan had not been replenished ..the padoras had sat just a lil too long but what really shone was the awful awful service our water did not get refilled at any point, the dishes just sat there for our whole meal we had three plates each so we decided to just stack them up..we were also not the only ones people left & their plates just stayed there ..it was odd because there was alot of waiters & servers around who were not doing much but looking bored. YES they have good food for the most part (although the selection is quite small) but eating out is more than for the food its for the experience & for the price this cost i rather have saved my money gone to many of the other great indian restos in the city.
We are actually eating now at sahib, my bf & i must say the food was good. I liked their dessert gulab jamoon as it was warm & soaked freshly on a sugar syrup! Most of the indian restaurants i tried with my bf.. Their gulab jamoon was cold & i didn't really appreciate it when it's cooked that way. Rice pudding too was nice & my all time favorite buttered chicken is definitely yummy! They prepared it really well even though it is a Sunday buffet like, right now. The fact that this place is packed of people only means the place has something to offer. Good prices, courteous servers. On the downside, the sizes for deliveries are quite small. Nevertheless, food is tasty! Service is appreciated!
We had an excellent dinner at Sahib. We ordered the appetizer sampler which was delicious. We also ordered samosas, which were ok. For the main course, we ordered a variety of dishes to share: chili paneer, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, lamb korma, rice & naan bread. Although the tandoori chicken was dry, everything else was wonderful: seasoned & cooked to perfection. The mixture of flavours is always amazing at Sahib. The service was also very good, even though there was a large group celebrating a birthday.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It might seem pricey for Indian food, but the quality is great.
Overall, this is an excellent restaurant. The food is some of the best I've tasted. A little on the pricey side for Indian food however the quality is definitely representative.
As a fan of indian food & living in the West Island, Sahib has always been the benchmark against which I compare other restaurants. & after many years, none has come close to besting it.
Everytime I go there, the food is fresh & tasty. Prices are good for the quality you get. Staff is polite & they know their menu. However, in some occasion, communication, either in french or english can be difficult. Plates are presented over a lit candle which keeps food hot & make it easy to share.
A minor issue I have is that they publish coupons in various West Island papers & using them is always a pain as they always try to find excuses not to honour them.
I eat regularly & always at lunch. I enjoy the buffet the steady stream of customers makes sure there aren't too many leftover dishes.
You can get in & out in 25 minutes with a full stomach of fresh food although I could not swear this is authentic Indian fare.
The food is always very fresh & tasty, & the prices are very wallet-friendly. The presentation (your dish is served in an individual bowl placed over a lit candle) makes it easy to share. I have been here twice & found that the waiting staff was very helpful, offering suggestions on the menu & warnings about the level of spiciness to those of us less knowledgeable about Indian cuisine. I'm a fan.
good consistant indian food in west island. good variety buffet choices.
The food is really extraordinary, the waiters & the owner very friendly. The only issue is that sometimes they take a bit long to serve you.
They will tailor to your tastebuds, meaning you can get something hotter than the original dish.
Unlike other Indian restaurants, the decor is agreeable & helps you relax.
