The Silk Road was also the route of spices, generous in fragrance and flavor. We invite you to be inspired by the spirit of the travelers, merchants and pilgrims who, for centuries, exchanged goods, riches and important cultural elements. A spirit of discovery and openness. We aim to create a hospitable atmosphere conducive to meaningful encounters. A setting in which to take the time to restore oneself in the sense of regaining strength and meaning.
As far as possible, our cuisine favors local, organic and sustainable agriculture. All the meat we serve is halal.
Rumi is described as a warm, inviting spot with beautiful décor and a Middle Eastern vibe, where generous portions, flavorful mezze and main courses, and fresh ingredients meet attentive, friendly service. The atmosphere is cozy and often lively, sometimes enhanced by live music and a charming terrace garden, making it suitable for intimate dinners as well as groups and celebrations. Guests repeatedly note excellent service, accommodating staff, and good value for the quality, with dishes ranging from hummus and halloumi to lamb shank and merguez highlighted as standouts. Went there for lunch & loved the vibe of the place! It is super cozy. We ordered Batingen & grilled squid for appetizer & the Batingnen was average but the grilled squid was yummy! We also got Lassi & Rumi drinks which I liked them both. For the main meal, we got Fez, Kafta & the grilled chicken. The Fez was super delicious & yummy, the Kafta & the grilled chicken was average though. I'm very picky when it comes to rice & they had pretty well cooked saffron rice but the food is certainly over priced. Based on the money you pay & the portion you get I think it deserves a 4 stars.
Délicieux repas, décor enchanteur. Le DJAJ MESHWY (poulet mariné & grillé) était vraiment très bon, ainsi que le mezzé de chou-fleur & le pouding afghan. Le prix des bouteilles de vin est raisonnable. Une chouette expérience!
Remi fait partie d'un de mes restaurants préférés, autant pour l'atmosphère qui vous plonge dans un décor d'orient que la qualité de la nourriture & du service. À recommander!
Very unique Middle Eastern cuisine. Delicious dishes from Morocco, Iraq, & Iran. The appetizers are well-chosen & very tasty. The main plates taste are very unique & the whole experience is a must-try with the lighting, decorations, & Music.
Appetizers were decent, but main dishes were way too expensive for what you get. No one was too happy with the main course. I asked for modifications to mine, but none were allowed which makes me think it is not made fresh.

Je vais régulièrement chez Rumi. La nourriture & les drinks y sont bons, le thé à la menthe typique,, le service agréable, & la déco aussi. & les prix sont raisonnables! À essayer pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas!
We made reservation for 6 but last minute we could not find a baby sister so had to bring our 11 year old daughter. Rumi's staff was very accommodating. The servers were super accommodating & the food was superb! I had the salmon & it was so full of flavors. Finding parking was challenging but Rumi is our new favorite restaurant to go to.
