Awesome food & atmosphere. The presentation & taste of everything we ordered (for us & our dogs) were all top-notch. The prices were very reasonable, too. It is co-located with a multi-purpose daycare for the doggies so your best friends can sit with you. This is a must visit in Montreal for all dog lovers...or anyone who likes a good cafe!
My dog & our family had a wonderful time in Ruby's cafe. Food portion is big & tasty. & we had booked 1 hr swim time with my dog at Yoda splash. Such a wonderful way to spend your vacation with kids n dogs

The only cafe I want to bring my dogs for their special days. Always great food, someone to greet us, beautifully decorated & a boutique to purchase treats & toys for our pets. Looking forward to our next visit in October.
Ruby Cafe provides such a rare & unique experience. It was fantastic to enjoy dining out with our pup in a positive environment, & see so many people enjoying a similar experience. The food & plating is also well worth the trip.
The food was delicious & the portions are big. My dog loved the meatballs from the dog menu, I had to order a second one. Love the fact that you can enjoy a cafe with your dog. They even get their own water bowl. Everything has been very thought & planned when designing the place.
It was delightful to have our pup be able to partake in a meal outing with us! Great Service! Healthy & tasty menu selections. I had a new item on the menu-Bailey's Crumble Parfait. Definitely recommend Ruby Cafe!
A must stop if you're a dog owner in Montreal! We are from PEI & came here since we wanted to take our sheltie Goose somewhere to eat with us at least once while we were in the city. I did not expect to be blown away by this place! When we arrived, we were directed to our table & our server brought us some water - but not just us humans, they also bring a bowl of water for your dog! I have to say, I was not expecting the food at a dog-focused cafe to be anything special, but the menu items all seemed carefully crafted for a quality cuisine experience. I had a hard time deciding what to get since it all looked good, but I chose the Poche Vege Ratatouille which exceeded my expectations & was super yummy. After we ate, I ordered Goose a pup cake which he gobbled down super quick so I can only assume that was tasty as well. While we were there, he made lots of small doggy friends & had a nap or two under the bench while we ate - the booth we were at had a place to attach your leash onto as well which was great so that we didn't have to worry too much about him wandering at the wrong times. The location is also a dog hotel so we saw several dogs checking in & out of their stay, & in the lobby they also have a bunch of treats, chews, & toys available for purchase. We had a lovely experience & I can't recommend this place enough & I wish we had something similar on PEI! We love taking Goose places with us & it was really nice to feel so welcome at Ruby Cafe MTL. ❤️

A beautiful cafe in a quiet area. However just be prepared for a barking chorus whenever new dogs enter the cafe. The food was good & yes as others have said that it's a bit pricey at about $20+ per dish. It's not a place to really do any work as the barking dogs may be distracting. It's a great place to hang out with your dog or with your friend that has a dog. There is even a doggy pool (inground)!
Quelle surprise de voir qu'il s'agit d'un dog café. Nous avons eu la chance de bruncher autour de beaucoup de chiens dont 3 corgis adorables. Concernant la cuisine, bien que les plats mettent du temps à arriver nous nous sommes régalés. Le pancake est un pur délice. La sauce accompagnant les frites est aussi délicieuse. Si je retourne à Montréal je reviendrai avec plaisi
Très bonne expérience au ruby café ! J'ai été avec mon chien qui a du mal avec les congénères lorsqu'il y a de la nourriture. Mais tous le monde est respectueux de l'espace de chacun. Le serveur était super pour l'approche de chaque chien. Les plats sont un peu cher je trouve, mais c'est très bon !
La place est superbe, le café est beau, & les installation parfaite pour pitou, notamment les bols à disposition, ainsi que la piscine puis l'hôtel. Original & très apprécié il a même une petite boutique attenante . Le service & la nourriture au café laisse toutefois & à désirer en plus j'ai laissé 18% & le Service très très lent, il n'y avait pourtant pas beaucoup de gens & le menu vraiment pas fameux . Je n'ai pas tant aimé le brunch que j'ai prise & les pancakes avaient un goût de sel amer. 🧂 une prochaine fois peut être cela sera mieux! Mes étoiles c'est uniquement pour le service au café , j'ai pas essayer la piscine & l'hôtel!

Such an adorable pet friendly cafe! The aesthetic of the cafe is so cute & their food is even better! Theres lots of customers who bring their dogs so it was fun to see all these beautiful pets. They are connected to a pet hotel, & they have a section that sells dog food, cookies & accessories
Such a special & sweet experience! If you love dogs, this is the place to go! Such a great opportunity to socialize your dog. My pup devoured the woof balls. Also, food was really good. The pup-products sold at ruby cafe are all of the highest quality.
We spent a very nice moment there ! It was our first time in a dog Cafe & we will definitely come back. The service was very efficient & very friendly, the food was so nice ( specially the sloopy dog, they even have a range for dogs like dog beer & ice cream) & the atmosphere was perfect with all the dogs around. Our Husky really enjoyed the experience though & was so happy, we met other dog owners & our husky did like to have social interactions with other dogs. From the start to the finish line it has been a delightful experience 😊
We loved our experience at Ruby's Café! Great service, delicious food for humans & for your fur babies (of course!), beautiful atmosphere & decor, tasty coffee & drinks, & reasonable prices. We will be back! :)

INCREDIBLE!!!! Today we went to the doggy cafe for the first time ever & we are converts. Really relaxing atmosphere, happy people & dogs everywhere. The servers are really wonderful & friendly, the fellow visitors are also sooooo nice! The food is amongst the best in the city. Fresh, high quality ingredients & delicious recipes. We didn't think a dog cafe would put this much thought into humans, but wow this food was as good as it gets for us! Our pups were gifted veggie/fruit dog cupcakes (much appreciated by us since our dogs have protein intolerance with animal byproducts) by the servers who were attentive & welcoming. We had an amazing time & to quote mt partner, we'd move to MTL JUST for Ruby Cafe. Absolutely superb, from staff to food to atmosphere. Thank you & cheers to ruby!
I had my birthday party here with both of my pomeranians & they were happily welcomed it was really heartwarming to see them being accepted in a restaurant/cafe like this! We will be back regularly ✨
