If you are looking for an experience with attentive staff, good food & a beautiful historical building , this is where you want to be. I'm a recurring patron & the dogs love the atmosphere & their special menu, they recommend the meatballs.
I brought my dog on his last day before I had to euthanize him a few hours later. I just wanted to give him one final special morning, & I truly couldn't have chosen a better place.
Tatiana is such a beautiful soul. The way she treated me during one of the hardest moments of my life honestly brought tears to my eyes. Her kindness felt so genuine & human. The staff were also incredibly sweet, you can tell this isn't just a business, it's a place built with real love for dogs & their owners.
The food was amazing, & I ordered one of everything on the dog menu so Armani could finally try it all since he had been on a strict diet due to his epilepsy.
I love, love, love this place & everything it stands for. I just wish I had found it sooner so Armani & I could have made more memories there. Even so, it gave us the most peaceful, meaningful last morning together, & I will always be grateful for that. 🤍🕊?

My family & I were visiting from Toronto & were so happy to find a pet friendly café so that we can enjoy brunch as a family. The restaurant is so beautiful. The staff were all very welcoming. Our pup had the best time & had his own seat. The food also did not disappoint, it was delicious! Would definitely recommend coming here. Everything was amazing!!
I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience from our recent visit. First off, the chair I sat on broke & I fell on the floor. One of the female employees apologized which I appreciated & a fellow customer asked if I was ok.
The real disappointment came with the service & the beer my husband ordered. After a long wait, our waiter informed us that the keg needed changing as he brought my husband a Blue Moon. Fine, we understood that. However, after waiting 10 minutes after ordering, we finally got our drinks - & the beer was lukewarm & obviously from the bottom of the keg which tasted terrible. Not only was it warm, but it tasted flat as well, & we sent it back. The waiter apologized & took the drink away, which we appreciated at first.
But then, to our shock, when we finished our meal, the same exact beer that we sent back was brought back to my husband. It had been sitting on the counter as we were eating & keeping an eye on it the entire time. The waiter (light brown hair) didn't even check in on us to see how the meal was going or ask if we needed anything else. It felt like we were totally forgotten about.
Honestly, the lack of attention to detail & customer care left us really disappointed. The food was very good & the decor is beautiful but between the broken chair, the delayed drinks, & the repeated bad beer, this place just didn't deliver.
It would be so much easier & more comfortable for everyone if dogs can be off leash… the place is so luxurious & beautiful but the only inconvenience is that dogs have to be on leash all the time, which causes some issues for people who have excited dogs 😭🥺🩷
Starting with the positives: so many options on the menu & the representation is beautiful (picture perfect). Staff are friendly, caring & welcoming, however, due to low # of staff (the restaurant was full & only two servers were there) they couldn't provide a fast service even if they wanted to. Would definitely recommend adding more staff. Also, it was my first time there to celebrate My dog's birthday. I reserved a month in advance & no one called or even recognized that we were there to celebrate a birthday (even though I added in the comments sections that its a special occasion). Will not be going back as it wasn't an enjoyable experience overall.
By far one of the best brunch places in Montreal! I believe the breakfast/brunch is only available on the weekends however. Do make a reservation as this is a very popular spot! Unique tasty dishes, beautifully presented. I would come here even if we didn't have a dog in the family. Five stars for food. :)
The only cafe I want to bring my dogs for their special days. Always great food, someone to greet us, beautifully decorated & a boutique to purchase treats & toys for our pets. Looking forward to our next visit in October.

A beautiful cafe in a quiet area. However just be prepared for a barking chorus whenever new dogs enter the cafe. The food was good & yes as others have said that it's a bit pricey at about $20+ per dish. It's not a place to really do any work as the barking dogs may be distracting. It's a great place to hang out with your dog or with your friend that has a dog. There is even a doggy pool (inground)!
Great, beautiful place to go to with our furry baby. Unfortunately, the waiting time to get the food is very long. It took us 40 mins to get our food & our coffee, even when we asked to get the coffee first & as soon as it was ready. We had an early reservation & we were the fourth table to get occupied. The two waiters came to take our order & to give us out our food. We paid at the cashier. The coffee & the food was delicious. .
Such an adorable pet friendly cafe! The aesthetic of the cafe is so cute & their food is even better! Theres lots of customers who bring their dogs so it was fun to see all these beautiful pets. They are connected to a pet hotel, & they have a section that sells dog food, cookies & accessories
Very wondeful place. Gave my dog a second home & The staff was amazing especially valeria. What a beautiful & authentic human being i will definitely come back & refe
We loved our experience at Ruby's Café! Great service, delicious food for humans & for your fur babies (of course!), beautiful atmosphere & decor, tasty coffee & drinks, & reasonable prices. We will be back! :)
Amazing spaces. Very modern & beautiful. I love the pool for the pups (at an extra cost) & the little shop for doggos. A bit expensive but you definitely see the quality. The experience to come brunch with your furry friend & have them socialize is great. Food was excellent & there is a view inside the kitchen which is beautiful. Definitely recommend. Only disappointed about the opening hours, wish they could be open during the week for study sessions with my pup.
