Takeout order: fish sandwich & shrimp bowl, extra garlic potatoes & large shrimp in spicy sauce. Everything was delicious. Staff very helpful & welcoming. Will definitely go back
Le burger au poisson est délicieux. L'assaisonnement de la sauce tartare est parfait. La limonade au fruit de la passion aussi est délicieuse. Il y a peu de tables & elles sont petites, ainsi que les chaises en métal. Donc moins confortable. Tout semble très propre. Le personnel est souriant & efficace.
J'ai essayé ça pour la première fois hier & c'était délicieux. J'ai pris le fish burger qui était parfait.
On a pris aussi un bol aux crevettes frites qui était délicieux.
Finalement la sauce aux homard dans la poutine est une très belle addition.
Le prix est correct pour la qualité.
Le seul bémol est que ça prend du temps pour reçevoir sa commande
The best fish fillet in Montreal without any doubt. The fish is fresh, the tartare sauce is well balanced, & the bun is perfectly toasted. I highly recommend!
Le meilleur fish burger que j'ai eu le plaisir de déguster! L'aiglefin est frais, le petit pain est parfait & la salade de chou est bien crémeuse! Le ailes de poisson (aiglefin) sont aussi très bonnes & les sauces sont toutes excellentes. Le calmar frit est aussi très bon, la panure est légère & c'est une portion bien généreuse, tout comme les frites.

Super expérience Le bol était savoureux, bien garni & très coloré le mélange de crevettes sauce épicée, de légumes frais & de saumon grillé était parfait. Les petites bouchées croustillantes en accompagnement étaient aussi délicieuses. Le tout était bien présenté, avec des sauces variées & un service rapide. J'y retournerai sans hésiter !
I tried the Shrimp Bowl, & it was amazing. The shrimp was super fresh, the veggies were crunchy & tasty, & the sauce was phenomenal. The portions are huge, so I definitely didn't leave hungry.
The Shrimp Poutine was something else! Who knew shrimp & poutine could go so well together? The sauces were spot on, & the cheese curds were melty & delicious.
The staff were super friendly & made me feel right at home. Plus, the place has a nice, relaxed vibe. Prices are fair for the quality & creativity you get.
Whether you're into seafood or not, Rubian will change your mind. You've got to check it out I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
My husband & I came here on our last day of being in Montreal. We were worried about coming in too early as they had just opened but as soon as we entered they greeted us so warmly with big smiles.
The fish sandwich was so delicious, & I appreciate the bread being buttered as well. The fish itself was perfectly crisp on the outside & flaky, & soft yet firm on the inside. You could tell the fish was really fresh! They definitely give you a perfect portion of fish for the sandwich. The sauce & coleslaw were excellent too. I was hesitant to have the cheese with it at first but it actually went really well with it, so I'm glad I got it as is.
The poutine was also great & the cheese curds tasted fresh.
As we left they asked us how everything was, if it tasted good & if we enjoyed. You can tell they really care.
Everything was amazing & the wonderful customer service made the experience even moreso. Our only regret is that we came here on the last day of our trip. But we will definitely be back next time we come to Montreal!
Great food! The shrimp are amazing, good size & well seasoned. The sandwich is actually fire! The best dish tbh was the soup! WOW I recommend the soup whenever. Only negative too much sauce. I recommend when ordering from them ask for light sauce! It's great but a little much! Takes away from the amazing ingredients. Overall would order over & over again.
I never thought about a shrimp/poutine combination but decided to try it out since it's two of my favorite things. It's pretty mind blowing how good this is. I took cilantro lime sauce with garlic shrimp & I highly recommend it, will definitely be eating from this place again.
