I've always genuinely enjoyed coming here, which is why this experience felt a bit disappointing.
To start on a positive note, our service at the table was excellent-our waiter was attentive, warm, & really added to the evening. My own dish, the ris de veau, was very good & lived up to what I've come to expect.
However, some of my friends didn't have the same experience with their meals. One found the portion size quite small, & there were comments that the vegetables were overly firm, which took away from their enjoyment.
What stayed with me most, though, was how the evening ended. We moved to the back bar to celebrate a friend's birthday with one last drink, hoping to keep the good energy going. Unfortunately, the atmosphere there felt quite unwelcoming. We had the sense of being overlooked, & it was difficult to get any attention from the staff. It left us feeling a bit dismissed at a moment that was meant to be special.
I'm sharing this because I've had such positive experiences here before, & I know how wonderful it can be. I hope this feedback is helpful, as I would truly love for future visits to reflect the high standard I've come to associate with your restaurant.
J'avais une expérience assez moyenne ici il y a deux ans… & honnêtement, je ne m'attendais pas à devenir un habitué aujourd'hui.
Mais j'ai redonné sa chance au Rose Ross, & clairement, je ne regrette pas.
La cuisine est maintenant vraiment maîtrisée : des plats précis, gourmands, avec une vraie identité. On sent une approche simple mais très juste, qui met en valeur les produits de saison. Mention spéciale aux cuissons & aux sauces, toujours impeccables.
Le service fait aussi toute la différence : chaleureux, attentionné sans être lourd, & toujours de bon conseil.
L'ambiance est cosy, parfaite pour un dîner à deux ou entre amis. On s'y sent bien, ce qui explique pourquoi on a envie d'y revenir… souvent.
Bref, une très belle évolution. Comme quoi, ça vaut vraiment le coup de laisser une deuxième chance. Aujourd'hui, c'est clairement une valeur sûre du quartier.
