I order with doordash & the food was over cooked & dried out. I was so disappointed. I had read the reviews & I guess only the positive ones are here. The chicken, & sausage, were not eatable.
We had the platter for 2, the brisket was full of fat, pulled pork was cold, sausage was ok,chicken was good,& bake potatoes were cold. 122$ & we left 70% of the meal there, we also asked for fully loaded bake potatoes, 14$ charge for that.

Waitess was rude & ungrateful. Served us salty tap water instead of offering or selling us bottled water after being parched from drinking beer. The manager offered us shots for the long wait & I watched him tell the waitress, she completely ignored us & brought shots to the table next to us who also waited a long time. I had to remind her & when she brought the shots she didn't even bring lime like she did for the others. Cherry on top was the fact that I still tipped her 20$ on a 100$ bill & she didn't say thank you mind you we were respectful & patient the whole time even tho the food was tasteless my friends chicken was dry & my pulled pork stank we didn't even complain. So in conclusion if you want fresh water, tasty food & a proper waitress don't go to this place.
This is a great place for ribs & chicken & lots of comfort food. Stay away from the steaks. The meat was thin & stringy. The baked potato was good & the sauces were delicious. The waiter was well trained in upsell but the service was average. Great place to watch a World Series game, lots of screens & atmosphere.
Welcome once or twice a year for birthdays, but it's always delicious. We will have to come for all you can eat ribs on Mondays though. The fries are crispy, chicken is tender, ribs flavourful. Service is good. Really no complaints, just I hope the little plastic cups for coleslaw & BBQ sauce are biodegradable. They also have many tvs to watch sports from anywhere.
We went on a Saturday not knowing it would be so packed. Seated at the bar, which we did not like, & the manager was kind of an ass. Very abrupt in speaking with customers, screaming across the resto right behind customers, just...maybe he was stressed & busy, but a bad vibe.
Luckily, the bartender who was our server for the evening was amazing. Always close by, super nice & always helpful.
We shared the 2-person BBQ plate:
1. Upgraded to sweet potato fries, they were insane, some of the best I've had.
2. Smoked sausage was a highlight, very good.
3. Brisket, when you don't pay extra for lean, is about 80% fat, & poorly rendered, so lacked flavor.
4. Roast beef is quite unusual for barbeque, & it's thing, grey-ish appearance was a bit of a turn off, it was okay.
5. Chicken was nice, but quite dry.
6. Pulled Pork served NOT in a sauce is a food crime. Seriously. Sauce your meat, people.
7. Ribs were fantastic!
Am I going back? Yes, a second try for sure - but will stick to those sweet potato fries, sausage & ribs. Would I go back without Playground next door? Not sure...they seem to go hand in hand.
Only way to describe Robbie's Steakhouse is buy saying that it is mod st definition of Culinary Masterpiece in Every Bite!!!
There are restaurants that serve great food, & then there are restaurants that craft an experience-Robbie's Steakhouse effortlessly achieves the latter. From the moment you walk through its doors, there is an undeniable energy: the hum of delighted diners, the clink of fine glassware, & the scent of expertly prepared dishes filling the air.
Yet, what truly elevates Robbie's from exceptional to extraordinary is its people. On this particular evening, we had the absolute pleasure of being served by Carmen, a consummate professional with an unwavering dedication to her craft. It is rare to encounter someone who balances grace, efficiency, & warmth so seamlessly, but Carmen did just that-making us feel valued, attended to, & genuinely welcomed.
Despite the restaurant being packed, the atmosphere remained effortlessly inviting. The synergy between the staff was a sight to behold, with the manager stepping in not as an overseer but as a guiding force, ensuring that every guest felt the touch of hospitality at its finest.
& then, of course, there was the food. I opted for the Chicken & Fried Pickles, a combination that perfectly balanced crispy indulgence with savory delight. Each bite was rich with flavor, the pickles providing a satisfying tangy crunch against the tender, expertly cooked chicken. Meanwhile, my friend chose the Amour Classic Burger & Fries, a masterpiece in its own right. The burger, bursting with bold flavors & perfectly grilled, was paired with golden, crispy fries-simple, yet executed flawlessly.
Robbie's has long mastered the art of culinary excellence, & this visit was no exception. Every dish was a testament to their commitment to quality & craftsmanship-it was not merely a meal, but an indulgence, one that lingers on the palate long after the last bite.
Without a doubt, this is not just a steakhouse-it is a sanctuary for those who appreciate the finer things in life. A return visit is inevitable, & if luck is on our side, Carmen will once again guide us through an unforgettable evening. Thank you once again to the wonderful experience. Cheers

For being called a smokehouse the smoked meats are terrible. Brisket has no taste to it, pulled pork is soggy, roast beef was watery all have been overcooked & had very little smoke ring. Chicken was well cooked & ribs were not bad. Same review from multiple people in our party. Burgers were excellent. Very disappointed to see a smoker & it wasn't smoking in the entry way, does this mean the meat is smoked & then stored for hours & then re heated? We have been to multiple smokehouse around North America & first time we see a smoker not running.
I thought my homemade brisket was pretty good but after ordering the meat platter for 2 I realized my brisket is miles a head of what they serve. Tough as a boot & dry as sand. Brisket is supposed to be tender & juicy. If I had a restaurant I would not bother to serve brisket if this is what I had to offer . Chicken & sausages were dry, beef roast & pull pork were bland. Ribs were passable but undercooked. On the whole platter we did not enjoy anything. The baked beans were good but nothing special. Mashed potatoes were pretty good I'll give them that. We also ordered the Korean pork belly entrée. Slices were incredibly thin & I'm not 100% but the sauce tastes like VH Korean sauce. Fries are Costco fries I'm pretty sure. Service I can't say anything bad about it. It was pretty busy when we went & waitress was running quite a few tables. Atmosphère was nice. Music might be considered a bit loud for some but I was fine with it. Overall not worth going here at least for the meat platter. I haven't tried their steaks or their burgers so I can't comment on them however after our experience today I doubt I'll be back. Sorry Robbie's. Still on the lookout for a quality smoked bbq restaurant in the Montreal area.

Food & service was excellent! You definitely need to try their bacon rings with spicy mayo as an appetizer! I enjoyed the smoked chicken breast with their yummy mashed potatoes & gravy! Everything we ordered was delicious! Will definitely go back!
Seated quickly even though it was a busy night & we didn't have reservations. Cocktails & food were delicious. The spicy chicken had the perfect amount of heat & the coleslaw had a nice tang. The half rib dinner was generous & tender. Our waitress was really sweet & friendly. This was our first visit but we will definitely be back.
We were there for a special event, we had great chicken, & braised beef, but tge ribs were not the best. Portions are very good. Limited choices of drinks, but access to full bar downstairs. Tge house red wine, I would not recommend. Overall, I will go again. If your looking for good comfort food & full bar., it's a good place.
A surprise party for a friend was held upstairs where there was a buffet for meat lovers which included pulled pork, sumptuous choices of beef with 3 varieties of gravies, sausage & pieces of breaded chicken served with mashed potatoes, fries, grilled vegetables & salad. A cash only bar, dancing & karaoke with prizes you want to offer your guests is a great way to add some party animal atmosphere! A guitar shaped cake was made by a friend & a full candy bar was available for all the guests. Bring your own Western hats & have fun line dancing & singing!
If you are looking for authentic barbeque chicken, Barbeque like REAL in the smoker barbeque ...Yes they have brisket & pulled pork & all that other stuff but I'm talking about barbeque chicken. Go to this place. Don't even think about it just get in your car, your truck, grab a cart & a donkey, what ever, But go directly to this place & get the chicken. It is the best barbeque chicken not only in Montreal, in the whole country. It is absolutely incredible. The girls are very pretty, friendly, patient & helpful. (So don't be a creep)
Ribs were excellent, rest was a bit dry.. we were 3, shared a platter for 4, only half a chicken to split, sausages were over grilled & dry... as a first time experience...not too impressed..
