The texture is a bit lighter & icier than the ice cream at a place like Salt & Straw. The flavors are to die for. Highly recommend the chai tea, halvah, lychee & kulfi flavors. The powers that be at this shop do a lovely job of providing delicious flavors you are unlikely to see anywhere else, whilst avoiding off-putting gimmicks. I came here twice during my three day trip to Montreal & Id do it again

We came across Ripples ice cream shop while walking around town. It was a pleasantly warm afternoon & an ice cream break sounded like the perfect afternoon pick me up. Ripples had a variety of flavors & some were definitely intriguing. We were interested in their rose & kulfi flavors that were unfortunately sold out, but also done for the season. Instead we tried two classics: French vanilla & Chocolate 6x. Both were good & you can taste that they were homemade. No crystals or crunchy bits in this ice cream.
There's a counter you can sit at if you want to eat inside.

Ripples in Montreal is a must-visit for ice cream lovers, known for its homemade, creamy textures & unique flavors like Kulfi, Halvah, & the famous Chocolate 6x.
