Wow! What an amazing place. The atmosphere alone is worth turning back some well preserved time. Then of course you have all the fine staff. In perfect attire to suit the business. All with the best customer service skills as well. As for my server Tanya. Man was she ever knowledgeable & extremely helpful. Certainly made my first visit to Montreal start off on the right foot. Let's not forget the food. When in Rome you know.... So yes, I started my adventure with a Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich & a sour pickle with slaw & fries. Take a very good look at that sandwich in the picture. Looks massive & delicious right? How about incredibly good tasting & extremely filling as well. You know the one in the picture.... Yeah that's the regular size. Take another look, that's regular. There's one bigger! Why? lol!!! My goodness what a fantastic place, best food & amazing staff. When visiting head office I will be sure to make this one of my stops each time. You folks don't just do it right. It's perfection. Best Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich I have ever eaten. My husband & I had the BBQ Shortrib Poutine as starters. Original Reuben Sandwich & Grilled Salmon as our main meals. The food was 11/10 delicious!! The portions were a good size! Service & atmosphere was amazing ! I will definitely be back here next time I am in Montréal!!!View more

cannot recommend this place enough. I came here for the ruben sandwich a few ysars & it was delicious & juicy. Then this week I wascraving a beed dip & it was absolutely amazing. The star the the cajun dip that I added, will 100% be getting that again. I got it with the poitine, also very good. The au jus was the best I've had. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu. I only with you could add muchrooms & it would be perfect!View more

The famous super sandwich was exactly what I expected, delicious smoked meat! The drinks were very well made, great balance between ingredients/flavours, & nice presentation. Sadly the peanut butter fudge brownie cheesecake had nothing of a cheesecake. It was very good, nice PB taste, & the brownie crust/base was rich & thick, just not much cheese flavour. Hadn't eaten here in over 6 years. Glad the quality has remained, can't wait to return!View more

If you're craving a perfect portioned & flavourful smoked meat sandwich, Reuben's is the perfect place! LOVE their smoked meat & the portion definitely kept me full! Let me tell you what you wanna do here: get a sandwich or burger & because everything comes with fries, make those fries a little poutine! Ordering a poutine starter was bold & unnecessary. I wish the poutine was served flatter & on a wider platter (like nachos): the gravy was all in the centre/at the bottom, & the meat was all on top & it was impossible to mix everything, you couldn't get the perfect bite. The gravy wasn't my favorite. The Delmonico was very good (that buttered bread yum yum) & not for anyone on a diet. It was good for two people. We were served a very different bottle of wine than ordered. It still tasted good & was the same price but funny that they presented that at all (it wasn't even on the menu). April 2024View more

Ordered to go & service was very fast. Food was hot, & simply smelt divine. I got the classic Reuben with a side of poutine (upcharge). The poutine was my favorite part of the dish. The sandwich itself was good, but not the best Reuben I've ever had. The meat is sliced thin & well seasoned. Not a lot of sauerkraut. Secret sauce is good as well. This restaurant feels like the equivalent of when you hangout with your best friends & you just feel so fulfilled & happy after. The food is delicious, & cooked incredibly consistently (I've had the same sandwich here 3 times & it's perfect every time.) The service is speedy, thoughtful & attentive. The atmosphere is cozy & slightly vintage (references to jazz clubs painted on the upper wall). The booths are comfy & have a good amount of leg room. Thanks to Sam for looking after me at the bar. Am in Montreal on my own & was going to hide away & just order room service but so glad I ventured out & found this place! I wasn't sure what to order & Sam kindly offered to give me a sample of the smoked meat. Oh my god, amazing, so just HAD to have the smoked meat sandwich.
