It's good, I've gone here since it was called commensal back in the day. I don't like how they have a tip option on the debit machine that you have to go out of your way to say no to, while the cashier watches you. Pay your staff better instead of embarrassing poor customers.

I loved my experience at Resto Végo! I was a big fan of Commensal, as I went there often as a kid, & was looking forward to reliving that same experience.
It was even better than I expected, the location & the freedom to choose between their 2 floors makes you feel at home.
The food at the buffet was amazing, everything was well cooked, seasoned & seemed fresh. I also really appreciated the option to open a table & being able to go back & forth at the buffet & only pay at the end.
Its a perfect mix between a nice, cozy restaurant & the feeling of the freedom of choice.
Greatly recommend!

Le Vego est un endroit de réconfort. Le buffet est varié, frais & délicieux. Le comptoir au premier étage offre d'autres options comme le sandwich au pulled pork végane qui est à tomber par terre!

They have a variety of dishes, local, Indian, Chinese .. & they are tasty.
Its a by weight concept, so take the portion size that suits you.

Many options in desserts … i found the pasteries not soft though, taste was good.

This is a fantastic spot for a hot & cold buffet. Large variety of vegetarian & vegan dishes clearly lableed in French & English. Lots of dessert options as well. Delicious food all around! Will definitely revisit on our next trip ❤?

I found this spot for my family (8 of us) who are all vegetarian. This was an incredible concept because they have a large buffet with all vegetarian & vegan options!

We were blown away. More cities need places like this!

Everyone had a delicious & filling meal. The ambiance was comfortable & allowed everyone to go back for seconds if needed. You weigh your food & pay accordingly so no waste as well. Topped off with coffee to end the meal.

Have been here twice in as many days & have loved every ounce of what I've eaten (& I've had a lot of ounces in just two visits). Fun, casual ambiance; super friendly staff; a wide range of vegetarian & vegan options across sweet & savory foods. What's not to like?

I loveeee this place! 😍 They have so many vegan options to choose from. The food is very good, especially the sandwiches at the counter which I highly recommend. The BBQ sandwich & the Tex Mex sandwich are my go-to's. What I love the most about this place other than the food is the atmosphere. You'll almost always find a spot to sit at. It's very introvert-friendly & peaceful, if you're looking for a spot to eat by yourself comfortably, this restaurant is a great option. I've also seen plenty of large group gatherings though, so they cater to everyone. Great spot 💚
