Did not know about this Gem in my neighborhood. Great vegetarian place...I am not vegetarian but enough selections that I can taste a bit of everything. Note it is by weight, soup is not by weight, total was $43 for two people. Was full, did not have room to try desserts...next time. 😜😋😋😋
I really like the variety that this place has. It's all vegetarian/vegan. You can opt for individual meals they have like sandwiches & drinks or you can go for the buffet which charges you per pound of food. My friends & I went for the buffet after practice & it was perfect. The food was warm & we ate enough for the price. My plate was around $17 & I was very full by the end of it. The food is warm & delicious. Some stuff was missing since it was very close to closing but that's ok. I do wish the dessert was included in the price (it's a separate weight fee). The restaurant is big (the buffet is upstairs) so there's enough seating if you go with a group.
It's always nice to add another vegetarian/vegan restaurant to my list of recommendations!
This restaurant is a must try. The food is yummy & the place is clean. It was my first time to go there . I brought my friend who's not vegan he loves the food even the desserts . He said he wouldn't believe the desserts especially the carrots cake with cream was vegan.
Always great (& I go every week!), either in the cafe or the buffet upstairs - delicious vegan dine-in or ready-to-eat meals in the fridge.
Love the rich choice of desserts!
An easy 5 stars. Massive choice of hot or cold food - see pics. Each dish described for contents in French & English.
Big dessert bar as well.
CAD35 per Kg (excluding plate.) 2 plates of hot food will cost about 42 dollars Inc taxes.
I could eat there every day.
I love this restaurant vegetarian / vegan buffet. It has something for everyone. You pay only for what you weigh in the plate. Or you can have something at the Caffe downstairs.
The staff is very nice but you serve yourself here.
I would totally recommend you to do the experience, especially if you want to try something different.
The desserts are also great. No complaints in all the years I have been a costumer & I keep bringing people to learn about this place.
Check the terrace downstairs outside in summer.
Best restaurant for vegans in Montreal!
- choose what you want.
- Pay for what you selected.
- You always see how the dish looks like.
- Over 50 dishes & 20 desserts.
- all labeled & clear ingredients list
- keep in mind not all the dishes are vegan, but they are clearly labelled
- stuff is very friendly, picks up empty trays & dishes from your hands.
- very good value for money please especially if you are vegan or vegetarian.
N'essayez pas leurs desserts. Tous plus excellents les uns des autres.
Délicieux pâté au poireau. Dessert très bon. Ambiance adéquate.
self serve buffet where you pay by weight. they had the most options for vegan cakes that i've ever seen! couldn't resist getting 4 slices so we could share & try them all, definitely worth a visit for dessert!
Honestly amazing food I love their sandwiches & vegan desserts!!! Their curries & all! Can't get enough Yesterday I got the Moroccan soup I'm Moroccan & it had nothing similar to Harira but it was one of the best soups of my life haha Will definitely recommend & keep going back!
- 2 options: café or self serve by weight buffet - plenty of sitting spots with different vibes - soup, dessert, cold or hot food - choices of beverage: coffee, tea, juice, water, alcohol - self serve iced water - food was made by caucasian people for causasian people: might be bland
Love the Variety of vegetarian dishes. & a wonderful selection of desserts. All these are weighed & then priced according to weight.
Excellent concept de buffet végé. On y retrouve une grande variété de mets & de salades, ainsi que de desserts. Tout est délicieux. Un peu dispendieux, mais pour moi le prix vaut la peine. Je recommande.
I love this place but price has gone completely out of hand. A few years ago it was (from memory) like 15 or 18$/kg with a mas price set under 20$. Now it's almost 35$/kg, i fill my plate half, mostly salads & a few hot meals, & it costs 20$ without a dessert or a drink, it's nonsense. + they ask for a tip while you serve yourself, you pay at the counter, you prepare your tray yourself, well you do everything yourself, why a tip? come on
Because I’ve only been here twice & tried two different kinds of sandwiches (I will let pictures speak for themselves), I don’t know if the other dishes & desserts are as good. The one thing I know for sure is it is affordable & the quantity & delicious mix of ingredients are filling enough in a good way. Plus, the location on Saint-Denis has an outdoor terrace which is lovely now that summertime is finally here in town!
