The place is simple & unassuming. They serve real cantonese wonton (with shrimp filling). The cantonese chow mein is as close to the real deal I have found as of yet, the noodles are well done it, the sauce tastes right, theres plenty of protein (squid, de-tailed shrimp, char xiu pork, chicken), & while the vegetables aren't what I hope for (bok choi, water chestnuts, bamboo sprouts, gai lan, shitake mushrooms), the americanized selection they've made makes sense (none of that carrot/onion/bell pepper/coli-flower stuff). The imperial roll was good, but I wasn't too keen on the stuffing. Overall, great place, good variety, as close to an authentic cantonese experience you can find nowadays.

A must try hidden gem in Laval. Since moving from Ontario, I've been searching for a good Chinese restaurant. Everything is made fresh from scratch. Everything is so good. It's hard to decide each time l go. The chicken wings are do die for. Don't wait to get home. Eat them in the car while they are hot 😜 The salt & pepper shrimp ✨ The ribs, general tso, beef broccoli fried wonton & fried rice are my favourite. Hands down best Chinese restaurant.

Overall, Kam Shing was an excellent dining experience. The food was hot & tasty with very generous portions - enough to bring home for a late night snack or a whole meal the next day! The staff & service were extremely friendly, quick & efficient (especially considering how busy the restaurant was on a Saturday night) & they provided excellent recommendations. My favourite dishes from the evening were the crispy garlic shrimp, general tao chicken, peanut butter dumplings, crispy wontons, chicken fried rice & the duck. It is a very family/child friendly restaurant but would also be a really cute date spot. I would highly suggest ordering several dishes to share so you get to try all of the delicious options. Can't wait to go again!

Dinner or lunch, you won't regret. Fresh ingredients are a constant largely due to huge turnover of clients. Service is quick & fair. Steve & his dad made a wise choice in opening this establishment in the heart of Laval. Make sure you get there before 6 for dinner or before noon on somedays. Always busy. Especially on the weekends! Chinese broccoli with jumbo shrimp, seafood soup, scallops with snowpeas, & general tao are a must to try. I go at least once every month. Excellent.
