This place was a total delight from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, the kind of spot where you instantly feel comfortable settling in & enjoying yourself. The staff were friendly, attentive, & genuinely seemed to care about making the experience great.
The food was delicious -beautifully presented, full of flavor, & clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish tasted fresh & thoughtfully prepared, & the portions were just right. You can tell a lot of pride goes into what they serve.
Overall, this restaurant exceeded expectations & delivered a memorable dining experience. I'll definitely be back & would happily recommend it to anyone looking for great food & excellent service.
We dined here for Valentine's Day which was extremely overbooked! The food was quite decent, but our appetizers were cold which was a soup. The set menu missed a little diversity & overall the service was subpar due to overbooking reservations. For a 7:15PM reservation, we were seated at 7:45PM, & only got our second course around 9:30PM, leaving the restaurant at 11:00PM. There were way too many patrons for the amount of staff working & no one seemed to care…

J'ai eu une très belle expérience chez Veranda ce soir. Le service était attentionné & la nourriture délicieuse. Le serveur & le chef ont gentiment adapté le menu pour notre régime végétalien, ce qui a été très apprécié. J'ai hâte d'y retourner cet été pour profiter de la terrasse !
We celebrated valentine's day here. Our reservation was at 6 & we only got seated at the bar around 6:40. We then got moved to a table around 7. The tables were cutely decorated for valentines but the service was horrible. We waited until 8 to receive water & to order. We received our soup around 8:30, & entres around 9:00. After waiting & being patient, we grew annoyed. The waitress offered us a free soda to make up for the long wait. It was appreciated but definitely not enough compensation considering we only received our meal around 9:45 (almost 4 HOURS after our reservation)! We honestly should have left. This is the WORST experience I have ever had, & the service was truly unsatisfactory. However, the food was amazing, very flavourful & the presentation was gorgeous. Really unfortunate & disappointing that we won't be back.
Some of the best Indian food I've had. So much so, that in the week I was in Montreal, I had this place twice. Things I tried that were amazing, in my opinion: Lamb Rogan Josh, butter chicken, lamb vindaloo & the garlic naan. This was a highlight of my first time in Montreal & I would definitely visit again if I'm there again!

We visited Véranda for Valentine's Day &, while the atmosphere was nice, our experience was impacted by timing issues. We had a reservation for 6:15 PM but weren't seated until around 7 PM, & we left the restaurant at 9:30 PM. The food itself was decent, but the long wait between courses made it difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the soup we received was a bit cold & would have been much better served hot. We understand that Valentine's Day is busy, but reservations & pacing are ultimately the restaurant's responsibility.
Ik heb onlangs gegeten bij Restaurant Veranda in Montréal en had een aangename ervaring.
De gerechten waren mooi gepresenteerd en de smaken waren goed in balans. Alles proefde vers en verzorgd, en je merkt dat er aandacht wordt besteed aan de details. De porties zijn redelijk en de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding voelt passend aan voor wat je krijgt.
Al bij al een fijne plek om te eten als je op zoek bent naar een rustige en smaakvolle eetervaring. Zeker een goede keuze voor een ontspannen avondje uit.
Notre soirée au restaurant Veranda était superbe. Nous y étions pour la St-valentin, un menu spécial 4 services était proposé pour l'occasion. À notre arrivée notre table était prête & nous n'avons pas attendu. Le restaurant est très beau, propre & l'ambiance excellente. La nourriture était aussi très bonne dans l'ensemble. La qualité du service a été affectée par le grand achalandage de la soirée mais dans l'ensemble ça a été, le staff est agréable & professionnel. Belle découverte - merci !

Fantastic inventive Indian cuisine. Beautiful ambience in the old port. Very creative drinks & dishes. Our waiter was very helpful & explained some of the dishes we never tried & made recommendations. Highly recommended.
Une cuisine excellente, un service excellent & sympathique.
Très bon rapport qualité prix, même surprenant considérant les coûts actuels pour aller au resto!
Soo delicious! The garlic naan was fresh & had the perfect texture. The tikka masala was some of the best I've had, not to mention the ambience of this restaurant is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Came here for my Birthday dinner with my girlfriend & everything was amazing , at first we were not able to contact them but even after 9 we got a reservation.
The Place is beautiful with perfect lighting. Service was quick, we ordered beers, tandoori shrimp, malai tikka, lamb rogan josh & naan. Food was as expected, very pleasing, perfectly spiced according to our preference.
Really enjoyed the food & the fine-dining ambiance. The restaurant is big & well laid out. However, the menu-especially the starters-is limited, & there's no paneer tikka. When we asked for spicy food, they just added a lot of black pepper, which made the dish extremely spicy, but not in the traditional Indian way
We had a wonderful dining experience at Restaurant Veranda . Our server, Mohit, truly made the experience stand out. He was friendly, attentive, & knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations & making sure we were comfortable throughout the meal.
Mohit & Lina truly made our visit special! From the moment we sat down, they were welcoming, attentive, & genuinely kind, setting the tone for a great experience. Lina took amazing care of us throughout the meal, & despite saying she doesn't like sweets, she was easily the sweetest part of the night with her warmth & positive energy! Huge appreciation to Mohit as well for going above & beyond by bringing us extra garlic naan even as they were closing. That level of hospitality really means a lot. The butter chicken was excellent, the garlic naan was fresh & flavorful, & the mango lassis were perfect. Shoutout as well to Shubham & the rest of the team for creating such a welcoming atmosphere. This is a place run by people who truly care, & it shows. Looking forward to coming back again!
