I had the perfect dining experience at Tendresse! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly & attentive staff who immediately made me feel welcome. The service was outstanding throughout the entire meal - the team was knowledgeable, accommodating, & genuinely eager to ensure I had a great experience. the atmosphere is warm & inviting & The menu offered a variety of options, with each dish being very balanced. I started with the dumpling , which was a hit! For the main course, I opted for the risotto, & it was absolutely delicious - fresh, creative, & beautifully presented!The dessert, Amande , was the perfect way to end the meal, light yet indulgent. It's clear that a lot of care & passion goes into every plate. What really sets this place apart is not just the amazing food, but the top-notch service. It's clear that the staff genuinely cares about giving you the best dining experience, & their attention to detail was on point (great wine recommendations!) Will definitely return to try more from their menu!View more

Came here when on a solo trip in Montreal. I didn't have a reservation & it was relatively quiet. The server was super friendly & the food came out pretty quickly. The risotto although nice, was nothing amazing, & for the price & portion size, I wouldn't have it again. The almond cake dessert was delish though. I would definitely come again & just order another dish. OVERVIEW When: Saturday Night, December 2024 Ate: Risotto, Almond Cake Drank: x 1 white wine $$$: $70 total with tip Pros: Service, dessert Cons: A little pricey (risotto wasn't worth the price)View more

Unfortunatly I freeked out with all the junkies all around did not feel safe. I'm sure the food is still great but when I called 911 about an possible overdose, the clerk did not even know where Métro Beaudry was & yelled at me. _________________________________________________________ SUBLIME experience. From the first call, front of house was very polite & accomodating. When I got there, my table was ready, with good cuteltry, glass ware, real tissu napkings & NOT a plastic chair on site! The menu had to be scanned...not great when you have an old tired phone & there was a small issue with pricing display. The all natural wines & private importation list was on paper. We could not decide which wine, so we where offerd a wine tasting. We all agreed on a bottle of white wine. We then did order 4 dishes to share between our group of 3. We started with the squids (shitake mushroom) & the braised cauliflower, then we had the tortillas & staked patatoes. For dessert we had a chocolate cake with organic Madeira sweet wine. Thanks to front of the house Jeanne & Andy. Let's not forget the artists back of the house also known as the chefs. Memorable experience & highly recommended. Pet friendly too, wouf wouf! Truly fantastic food, service & wine. I have visited on a few occasions now & have been impressed by every new dish I try. Everything is very flavorful, well balanced & thoughtfully presented. I really enjoy that there is an emphasis on seasonality & using every part of the vegtable. I recently visited with my partner (he & I are both chefs, myself vegan & him a carnivore) & my father who is a sommelier & a carnivore as well. It truly is the mark of a good vegan resturant when they can impress meat eaters. We received incredible service from Nicholas. His service was very friendly & attentive, & he Is an excellent sommelier. He offers excellent pairings & always has new & interesting wines to try. It is very rare that I see my father, a sommelier of 45 years, be so impressed by a resturants wine selection. He also provided wonderful mocktails & teas for me, as I am currently pregnant & not drinking alcohol. Nicholas wine selection is a large part of the reason my father insists on dining at Tendresse everytime he comes to Montréal to visit me. I will certainly continue to dine here & look forward to my next meal.View more
