A bit difficult on the wallet because the portions aren't really filling, but the light meal could be preferred by some.
Beautifully crafted food & cocktail.
The risotto took 30min to arrive when there were ~20 people dining. It was more on the liquidy side, like congee, but the taste is nicely balanced.
The arancio cocktail tastes like sweet oranges, & gets a bit cloudy at the end (zest particles?) but that's fine.
Service is attentive. Atmosphere is intimate on a weekday evening. Some tables are pretty close to each other so you might overhear some conversations…
You can hear some music, & some sizzling from the kitchen.

got the soup of day & risotto. the food was very high quality, however the flavour lacked along with the portions. we got the table d'hôte so the price for the portion wasn't bad but paying full price for those portions would be 😬… still loved the atmosphere, the quality of the food & the server was super nice!View more

I had the perfect dining experience at Tendresse! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly & attentive staff who immediately made me feel welcome. The service was outstanding throughout the entire meal - the team was knowledgeable, accommodating, & genuinely eager to ensure I had a great experience. the atmosphere is warm & inviting & The menu offered a variety of options, with each dish being very balanced. I started with the dumpling , which was a hit! For the main course, I opted for the risotto, & it was absolutely delicious - fresh, creative, & beautifully presented!The dessert, Amande , was the perfect way to end the meal, light yet indulgent. It's clear that a lot of care & passion goes into every plate. What really sets this place apart is not just the amazing food, but the top-notch service. It's clear that the staff genuinely cares about giving you the best dining experience, & their attention to detail was on point (great wine recommendations!) Will definitely return to try more from their menu!View more

Le service était bien! Des personnes sympathiques. Le resto est super joli! Très bel endroit, bien situé. Par contre, niveau nourriture c'est très peu sophistiqué. C'est un restaurant qui se veut haut gamme, mais désolé, on n'y est pas. La majorité des plats contiennent de la friture (en décoration ou comme cuisson principale) & manque de profondeur dans les plats. Nous avons pris le risotto aux courges, excellent. Seul bémol : des courges pas du tout cuites. Je crois sincèrement qu'il y un énorme potentiel, mais il manque un facteur « wow ».View more

Came here when on a solo trip in Montreal. I didn't have a reservation & it was relatively quiet. The server was super friendly & the food came out pretty quickly. The risotto although nice, was nothing amazing, & for the price & portion size, I wouldn't have it again. The almond cake dessert was delish though. I would definitely come again & just order another dish. Honnestly c'est un EXCELLENT restaurant Vegan. J'ai tout aimé de A à Z. Le service a été un peu long, mais chaque plat nous a ravie alors ça compensait pour l'attente. J'ai eu un gros coup de coeur pour la Focaccia, les Dumplings & le Risotto. Cela dit, c'est un peu cher pour la quantité des portions. Repas excellent ! Nous sommes venus manger ce soir avec ma soeur & deux ami(e)s & nous avons tous était conquis par ce repas 100% vegan (1 seul d'entre nous est végétarien) préparé avec soin par la cheffe Kim. Nous avons bu un thé glacé infusé au citron. En entrée nous avons pris 2 tartare de tomate, 1 tacos & 1 pleurote King. On nous a fait goûter les dumplings qui était juste WOW! En plat nous avons dégustés 2 risotto & 2 mille feuille, puis nous nous sommes partagé le burger à la courge. Tout était vraiment excellent & pour finir le dessert: 3 mousse au chocolat & 1 gâteau à l'huile d'olive & crème de limoncello, de quoi terminer en beauté ! Nous avons était servis par Nicholas qui a était super accueillant & qui a su nous conseiller à merveilles. Nous reviendrons vite! That was one amazing meal. The only regret we have after four days in Montreal is not eating at Tendresse more than once! Each dish was special in its own way. Dumplings were great, risotto outstanding, pave amazing, king oyster calamari yummy... Drinks were very well made, & desserts were out of this world. We had the king oyster mushroom "calamari", the brussel sprouts with hummus, & the yellow beet/celeriac risotto. Better than some Michelin starred restaurants I have ate at. The flavors & combinations were perfect. The mouth feel of the oyster mushrooms, slight firm & full of flavor, the charred brussel sprouts with the hummus, & the risotto perfectly balanced with the mushrooms. Incredible. Drinks (verde & carrot) were expertly made. Service was friendly & quick. & for the quality of the food, very inexpensive. The quality of the food & the plating were unexpected & excellent.
