Service is good & food is great. We always enjoy dinning here with my family whenever we visit Cote Des Neige in Montreal.
Masarap ang pagkain nila at sulit ang serving.
I don't have any photos that execute written facts ... however, I was in a sham after being told to visit & order from this restaurant. In truth the dishes I tasted were too bland for my palette. Their pricing per dish is superb. In addition the amount of food given is enormous by restaurant standards. For me I feel where they fell short is the flavoring wow-factor. Mind y'all, I have a West Indies up growing where dishes are seasoned to perfection. I felt challenged to taste because a person from the Phil's said they are good. Now I disagree. I believe this restaurant can be a landmark of delicious dishes 1- if they can take positive criticism & invest in renovations. I don't think the person serving me should have had a beard every so long while hovering over the displayed dishes. I guarantee you I will go back to this restaurant some time soon.
If you want the authentic & affordable Filipino cuisine, restaurant papas is the place to be! It is my favorite filipino restaurant here in Montreal. The serving is huge, staff are super nice & funny & the atmosphere gives a carinderia & turo turo vibes from home! Everything is delish & my favorites are liempo, pata, pakbet, laing, fried fish, humba, papaitan & many more.
This is my first time in Canada never thought i would taste home dishes.. Until my mom brought me here , my best experience home cooked filipino dishes my favourite is combo lenchon kawali & ginataang langka with rice & every pinoy dish they served. it was my home restaurant.. i really recommend this pinoy resto Papa's❤️the best Talaga affordable pa.. hindi kmi magsawa dito❤️a at yung serving madami kaya busog na busog kapa❤️
If you're Filipino & familiar with "turo-turo", this is exactly it, a genuine no-frills turo-turo place from folks up in the northern region of the Philippines serving up affordable & great tasting dishes. If you aren't Filipino, just know that the dishes here are genuine. We got two entrees with rice, a halo-halo (cold dessert) & a bunch of turon (banana dessert). The halo-halo was creamy & wasn't too sweet. The turon seems to be the best seller since there were a bunch of folks coming in & out ordering it to go, it did taste great when we ate it at the restaurant & tasted great even the day after.
It is so far the best Filipino restaurant in Montreal around Plamondon/Van Horne area serving lechon kawali, crispy pata, & Ilocano dishes (like papaitan, dinakdakan etc.)
