Honestly, where do I even start? We sat at the bar, which had only four people at the time (two more joined later). It took about 15 minutes before we were greeted, & another 25 minutes for the bartender to make our two Bloody Caesars. She was working alone & making drinks for tables too, but we noticed her stopping midway through our Caesars to start on other drinks.
We finally placed our food order 45 minutes after arriving - a burger, tacos, & corn. Around 7:32, my girlfriend noticed a burger sitting on the service window & joked it might be mine. I said,'No way, food comes out together.' We even placed a bet about it. Meanwhile, a server dropped utensils directly on the bar top without a napkin underneath. Gross.
At 7:58, the food arrived. My burger was awful: the meat was dried out, the top bun was rock hard, the bottom bun soggy, the cheese rubbery, & the fries cold. Clearly, it had been sitting on the pass for half an hour. The tacos were just okay, but the $9 corn turned out to be canned corn with butter - ridiculous.
For a $30 burger, this was appalling. Honestly, we laughed about it because we already knew we'd never come back. I've worked in restaurants, & I'm not someone who complains easily, but this was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had. I even recorded & took pictures because it was that bad.
J'ai adorée ma soirée, belle ambiance, gens courtois & serviables, un grand merci au patron de ce resto qui ne laisse pas les gens de couleur uniquement en arrière plan exemple cuisine ou plonge.
Le staff fait un excellent travail surtout les barmaids chapeau à vous!
I would consider myself more than fortunate for having had the opportunity to dine at this establishment twice in one week. Amazing Live music , the thing that stands out more so than even the menu , live music ....The staff , our server Rose . She single handedly transformed two ordinary dining experiences, into a extraordinarily memorable ones . Thank you. You are an indispensable asset to this restaurant
I celebrated my 30th birthday at this restaurant & it was a phenomenal night. The food was good, the ambiance was AMAZING, the live performance was to die for honestly!!!! I loved our waitress Taziana, very professional & lovely. I totally recommend this restaurant !!! Thank you !
Wow quelle belle découverte. La nourriture est délicieuse, le décor superbe dans une ambiance de la Louisiane. Je dois souligner l'excellent service de Mlle Markeisha. Nous avons eu la chance de discuter avec un des partenaires à l'origine de ce restaurant. Un jeune entrepreneur dynamique & passionné. Je recommande fortement.
Gros coup de coeur pour ce nouveau resto qui nous plonge dans une ambiance chaleureuse typique de la Nouvelle Orléans. La nourriture est excellente & le service est exceptionnel (merci à Markeisha, tu nous as fait passer un beau moment). Nous avons déjà hâte d'y retourner! Allez-y sans hésiter!
