Afficher toutlittle italy(11) italy(10) flavor(10) attentive(10) chef(10) fresh(9) delightful(8) decor(8) beautiful(7)Great Italian restaurant with a hefty price tag. Food: Delicious appetizers & dessert, worth every drop of flavor. The pistachio lava cake & caramel raspbery cheesecake was truly mind blowing. The main course were tasty, but hard to justify the price. Only giving four stars as the value did not meet the threshold. There are other Italian restaurants with similar fresh quality, at a quarter less expensive. Service: staff were inviting, kind & welcoming. Down side is service was quite slow, took 2 hours for oue first appetizers & the restaurant was not full. Little diversity as well, only male staff. Atmosphere: ambience was modern deco with classic touch. Neighborhood is pleasant little Italy with a nice romantic walk touch for date night. Bathrooms were clean. Overall, if price is not an issue,it can be worth it. Though, hard to justify paying 160$ + for a cocktail, wine glass, & 3 course meal.Voir plus
This new restaurant is a GEM! The food is amazing, the presentation & the taste are high-end as only a world-class chef can prepare! The decor is trendy but simple, open-style kitchen & nice bar. The service is as close to impeccable as you can get. I've already been there twice, I had Osso Bucco like I've never had before, fall off the bone & melts in your mouth, Linguini frutti di mare, Lobster tail on top with shrimp & scallops, OMG! Other plates at my table, Rack of Lamb, Veal Chop, Giant shrimps stuffed with Alaskan king crab, & all this not to mention the delicious appetizers. Everyone was impressed! A MUST try Mediterranean/Steakhouse hotspot. Will become the Best in Little Italy for sure! Bellissimo!
Delizioso ! Chef Renato & Team have upped the game with this Little Italy Gem of fine food & great selection with such consistently high quality & freshness also from the neighbouring Jean-Talon Market. Kudos :-)Voir plus
Had a delightful Valentine's Day evening at L'Osso & will be sure to re-visit. Located on St. Laurent Blvd, in Little Italy just south of Jean Talon, L'Osso has a much more urbane & modern-esque look & feel than a typical Italian restaurant, especially of those in the area. The menu was Prix Fixe(given the holiday dinner) so we each had three well-portioned courses. We started the meal with a complimentary plate of spicy pepperoni (or similar meat), olives & bruschetta followed by Seared Ahi Tuna & Burrata with Tomatoes & Avocado (both dishes were excellent). The main was Salmon with Mushrooms & Braised Veal with Mashed Potatoes (also both were excellent, extremely flavorful) & ending with the Pistachio Fondant & Raspberry Chocolate Mousse (once again, excellent). Really had an enjoyable time...with good service, good food & a truly wonderful locale. Certainly worth a visit. Enjoy!Voir plus

My wife & I recently dined at L'Osso, a new jewel nestled in the heart of Little Italy. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by an ambiance that seamlessly combined elegance with warmth. The atmosphere is lively, without being loud. We felt immediately welcomed. To kick off, cocktails were crafted with precision & creativity. L'Osso also features a great selection of wines without being overwhelming. There is something to offer for every budget & palate. We then indulged in the burrata appetizer - the creamy center of the burrata paired beautifully with the burst of flavor from the pata negra cured ham. The pan-seared scallops were expertly cooked, allowing the natural shellfish sweetness to come through. The highlight of the evening was the melt-in-your-mouth osso buco. The tender, succulent veal shank was a testament to the chef's mastery. Braised to perfection, the meat effortlessly fell off the bone delivering an explosion of rich, savory flavors. The accompanying risotto was both flavourful & perfectly al dente, elevating the dish to the next level. Last, but not least, we received excellent service. Our sever, Sam, was attentive & friendly, which added an extra layer of warmth to a lovely date-night. Highly recommended! Tony M.
Recently dined at L'osso in Montreal's Little Italy, & it was truly amazing. The restaurant, situated in the heart of Little Italy, offers a refreshing take on modern & unique cuisine. It had been a while since I experienced such a delightful culinary adventure. The flavors of my meals were simply delicious. I kicked off the dining experience with the Carpaccio meat entree, followed by the pear gorgonzola salad, both of which were a perfect balance of taste & freshness. For the main course, the carbonara was a standout - a delightful blend of flavors & textures. The finale, a tiramisu, was nothing short of heavenly. The creaminess of the mascarpone was truly phenomenal. I have to say, it's a solid 5/5 for me. L'osso delivers an amazing dining experience with its innovative cuisine & impeccable flavors.
