The way how they cook the seafood is amazing & tasty . It reminds me of Egypt's kitchen authenticity 👌🏻 Many varieties of fresh seafood kept in open freezer display that you can select from adds a speciality to the place. The restaurant is soo clean, staff is super friendly & the owner is taking care of all details. Le Canal is a restaurant i would love to visit again & again !
I was so impressed with the flavors & the freshness of their sea food. Everything was delicious, I can't even come up with one fault. Their prices were extremely reasonable. We will definitely come back!
First time & I must say Best seafood in town. Where ever I go I must try the fish & chips being locally or when we travel. Best fish & chips since our last trip to Europe. My wife had the salmon, & it was awesome Their service is amazing, friendly & food is cooked fresh! Highly recommend this place, keep it up !! We will be back.
Hands down one of the best restaurants in Montreal. Everything is so fresh, seasoned & cooked to perfection. I recommend the grilled octopus & the scallops. The grilled shrimp are also great. Honestly, this is some of the best seafood I've ever had. The service is also very quick & friendly!
Amazing, fresh & great valued seafood, with full of flavour! Amazed by the quality of the seafood & the Egyptian house-made recipes! Definitely coming back & making this into my go-to seafood spot. Service was impeccable & friendly. I had the pleasure of speaking to the owner & was offered soup on the house. Best seafood soup I've ever had.
Outstanding, Outstanding, Outstanding!!!!! If you want authentic Egyptian seafood or the best seafood you ever had, this is the place to be. When you walk in, the fresh seafood is right there on the counter over ice, you pick what you want & have it grilled of fried. Grilled or fried, you can't go wrong. The season the fish with wonderful Egyptians spices. I recommend the octopus gilled, the jumbo tiger shrimp & seabass grilled with veg. We also ordered the seafood soup & it was also incredible. The décor is nothing outstanding but who cares, the food is what you are there for. Don't think twice, reserve your spot & go.
The fish is very fresh & their octopus is so tender; It's very good! The service is also excellent. The only downside is that their prices are a bit over..

Food is fresh, the staff is friendly & the whole atmosphere feels very welcoming. Amazing establishement. One thing for sure, I will come back for the grilled shrimps!
If your local for the best freshest sea food this place is a must . The calamari is actually fantastic not to chewy & lightly breaded . The octopus was a perfect appetizer not over salty like I many places . The owner son gave us friendly welcome & checked up on us a bunch . This place is must
Definitely the best seafood restaurant in town! I had the occasion to eat here a few time & they never disappoint. Large portions, fresh food, super tasty & mostly: cooked with love! You can see their passion. They are very welcoming & take time to make sure you have the best service. Sadly I can't put more than 5 stars I will be back here for sure!
Such a gem! So happy we came across this spot, we stopped here on a trip to Montreal & the food is delicious. The octopus salad is a MUST try! Fresh seafood is right there, made to order & the service is outstanding. Everyone was very welcoming to myself & my family, even offered us unique traditional sides to try. I can’t wait to go back one day, hopefully you guys open a location in Mississauga soon lol
