Definitely a fish market with a restaurant...the food is worth the visit...the servers need to be a bit more friendly. They place your food on the table & walk away. What if it wasn't your food? Overall.. definitely would go again when in the area.

Fantastic Egyptian fish!!!! This is as good as - if not better - than fish we get in Egypt!! Feels like im in Cairo, or Hurghada, or Sharm… yummy yummy fish. The kids devoured the salad, the shrimps, the mussels, the fish…. We all devoured & enjoyed everything & did not once stop to take pictures. Service is a little slow because they were busy (which they deserve!) but the staff are kind & friendly. Will be coming back for sure!
This a great place for fresh fish & chips at a reasonable price. Parking is not a problem as it's located at a small shopping plaza. Of course there are other things on the menu like shrimp & octopus if that's what you fancy. The place is not huge & it's simplistic inside with basic chairs & table & an all glass storefront so the ambiance of the place is not one of its selling points. You need to place your order at the cash once you've studied the menu & they give you a number to place at your table where they will deliver your food to you. Take note that you can buy fresh fish & seafood there to make your own meals at home. We've been there 3 times already when we visit the west island as we reside in Ontario. Staff are super friendly & helpful which always makes for a more enjoyable meal.
A lot of people even it's passed lunch time. Better to make reservations. You pick up what you want to eat at the fish counter. They will prepare it for you. Tiger shrimps highly recommended. Love the octopus.
If you like seafood, this is the best spot. Buy your groceries & have a quick sea bass lunch, perfect 👌. I had the sea bass, not recommended if you don't like fish bones, you should get a fillet instead. Perfectly cooked, super flavorful, even the rice & salade camr seasoned perfecly. The food is healthy & tasty & not too expensive. I definitely recommend this place. 4.7/5
I loved the concept: a good fishmonger with tables. It sounds deceptively simple, but it really works! We got to pick our fresh fish, octopus, shrimp, etc. ourselves, then had it cooked according to our specifications & served immediately. The result was delicious & very fresh seafood, provided at decent prices & presented with a smile.
The batter on our shrimp was impossibly light & flaky, while keeping a consistent crunch; it was like an even lighter tempura. Paired with the rich seasonings, it made one of the best shellfish dishes I've ever had.
The décor references the Suez Canal, the Mediterranean & the Red Sea, & the regional flavours elevate the experience a step further, making this a unique dining experience on the West Island.
The food itself isn't bad, but the prices are outrageous. A small plate of fries & rice costs nearly $10. For two people, we spent around $160, when we could have had the same amount of food elsewhere for about half the price. The fish is especially overpriced-about double regular market value. Be sure to ask the prices in advance, or you'll end up with a shock on the bill.
Great & fresh seafood. We had the prawns, calamari, fish & chips, tilapia & salmon. If you are a big family it's better to order per lb/kg. Highly recommend.
We picked up fish from there to take home for the first time. Fish was great quality. Second time we went to eat there, the setting is not something I enjoyed because it's very crowded & tables are super close to one another. You can't hear anything your partner says in there. The fries are however some of the best I ever had. We also tried a bunch of seafood but didnt think it was anything worth noting for.
Amazing value, given the price point you can't beat it. The fried calamari is my personal favourite. Their fish & octopus are also great. I recommend making a reservation for peak hours on weekends & Friday.
