Restaurant dans un petit centre commercial sans charme mais oh que la nourriture est savoureuse. Une belle surprise. Nous avons pris des moules sauce tomate, du fish & chips, une dorade grillée accompagnée de frites croustillantes & une belle salade verte & des crevettes avec légumes grillés.
Il faut commander au comptoir & payer à la caisse. Pas d'alcool pas de café ni de dessert disponible.
Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Compter 40$ pp taxes & service compris. Les portions sont généreuses.
Fantastic Egyptian fish!!!! This is as good as - if not better - than fish we get in Egypt!! Feels like im in Cairo, or Hurghada, or Sharm… yummy yummy fish. The kids devoured the salad, the shrimps, the mussels, the fish…. We all devoured & enjoyed everything & did not once stop to take pictures. Service is a little slow because they were busy (which they deserve!) but the staff are kind & friendly. Will be coming back for sure!
I recently discovered this restaurant & I am officially hooked! They have incredibly fresh sea food that you can choose from over the counter. Don't let yourself get fooled by what the interior looks like - everything is in the quality of the food. The shrimps & the octopus salad are delicious - & the fries…unexpectedly the best I have ever had in my life!
This restaurant is a standout for their green salad-perfect for those who prefer a smoother, dressing-driven vibe! The scallops were marinated beautifully in lemon, garlic, & butter, though 4 pieces felt a bit light for the price. Highlights included amazing crispy fries, flavourful rice, & tender fried calamari. A great seafood spot worth checking out!
If you like seafood, this is the best spot. Buy your groceries & have a quick sea bass lunch, perfect 👌. I had the sea bass, not recommended if you don't like fish bones, you should get a fillet instead. Perfectly cooked, super flavorful, even the rice & salade camr seasoned perfecly. The food is healthy & tasty & not too expensive. I definitely recommend this place. 4.7/5

Si vous voulez manger du poisson & des fruits de mer c'est la place à visiter ! Leur salade également est exquise sans parler du service à table qui est rapide & efficace! Définitivement recommandé
J'adore cet endroit, j'y suis aller trois fois au total, & je n'ai jamais été déçue. La nourriture y est excellente & le service impeccable. L'ambiance est très familiale & on sent l'amour derrière la cuisine. Ça fait du bien de tomber sur un restaurant ou la passion & le goût se réunissent à merveille.
Les portions sont généreuses & le personnel toujours aussi aimable. Si vous avez la chance d'y aller, vous devez essayer leur salade de pieuvres qui est pour moi un incontournable. Longue vie à ce restaurant & sa réputation méritée!
We were four, had octopus, fish & chips, salad & fries. The food was fresh & delicious & service was fast kind, & courteous. Highly recommend! They have a wide variety of seafood

For us it was a novel experience to have dinner in a fish market, but it seems to be popular with many people in the neighborhood. The process is that we could choose any kind of seafood that they had on ice & they would cook it for us & serve it with either french fries or rice & salad. Their selection was varied & fresh & the standard plate with salad & rice accompanied well. I had a bit of trouble getting used to the "interrogation style" lighting, & it took a couple of tries to understand how things worked. Also, they have no liquor licence & we thought a nice white wine would've gone well... All in all though we can see why it's popular.
This place is a gem!!! Absolutely loved our experience here & will definitely be back soon. The tuna, cod & calamari was delicious as was the garden salad & fries!
I had an incredibly enjoyable dining experience at Restaurant Le Canal! The dishes were absolutely delightful: the fresh seafood was cooked to perfection, especially the grilled shrimp & octopus, which were perfectly seasoned with a lovely blend of herbs & seafood flavors in every bite. The fried small fish were crispy & delicious, & the lemon added a refreshing zest. The salad was fresh & well-seasoned, offering a crisp & pleasant taste. The restaurant was clean & tidy, & the service was warm & attentive. The overall atmosphere was cozy & relaxing, making it a great choice for family dinners or gatherings with friends. Highly recommended!
This is a must try spot. Had grilled scallops, octopus, bronzino & fried calamari. As sides we had salad, rice , & grilled veggies. The octopus & scallops were my favorite. Everything was super fresh & seasoned greatly. Drove 45 minutes to get to this place & would definitely do it again if I end up back in Montreal again.
