It does not look like much, but the food is simply great, very fresh & reasonably priced. Shrimps are probably the best dish, but I've never had a bad experience, going to come back for more. Dining in is an option, takeout is great & not all plastic.
Le Canal, c'est vraiment la perfection. Une fraîcheur incroyable, des produits d'une qualité exceptionnelle & un travail impeccable dans chaque détail. Je suis habituer d aller a ce restau j'ai cru que tout est frais il y a qlq semaine j ai vu la personne qui prends les commandes retire un sac d anchois du frigo & le mets dans la place ou il y a les glacons

Multiple vital pieces of equipment & public infrastructure were out of order during my visit, with absolutely no warning signs posted. I wasted valuable time trying to utilize facilities that were fundamentally broken. The lack of basic communication regarding broken systems shows a complete disregard for the visitor experience & highlights terrible maintenance schedules.
Food is delicious! Great variety of fresh seafood that they prepare from scratch. Loved the grilled octopus & fried seafood plate too. Service is kind. Place is packed & noisy but it's because it is so popular.
Definitely a fish market with a restaurant...the food is worth the visit...the servers need to be a bit more friendly. They place your food on the table & walk away. What if it wasn't your food? Overall.. definitely would go again when in the area.
