It will sound like a detail, but what really stood out to us was the breakfast potatoes! We couldn't stop eating them! The food is very good; my partner had the huevos rancheros & I ordered the "I'll have it all" platter. In hindsight, I was probably too ambitious - I couldn't finish it all 😂 Fresh & great taste! The staff was very friendly & helpful. Special mention for the decoration - the toilet had a disco vibe & gave us a good chuckle. There's a waiting line outside, & we had to wait approx ~40 min. While the wait was worth it, it's also because we didn't mind it - if you're impatient, there's plenty of other great brunch places around.
BEST EGGS BENEDICT OF MY LIFE. You HAVE to try the SweetSavory + Crunchy, you won't regret it.
Excellent brunch très bonne ambiance les toilettes doivent être visité très fun
I took the salmon eggs benedict dish & I didn't like the vinegar onions way too drenched it killed the fine taste of the sauce.... For 26$ plus a 1 hour wait in the cold weather.... Not worth it!
I ordered the SweetSavory+Crunchy with a perfectly poached egg. Large portions. Excellent flavour combination.
We started with dirty forks & now, in hindsight, we think maybe it was an omen. The host & our server were really nice & we weren't too bothered by the loud music, but my companion's potatoes were cold & my unimpressive duck & truffles Benedict had eggshells in it. The taste of the dish was okay, but not great or was it innovative in any way. It felt a bit bland, like home cooking. I'd have more to say about my friend's eggs & pancakes but she's been throwing up all afternoon since she got home. I felt a bit nauseated but didn't get that sick. The food is overpriced, bland, & the portions are just too large. I wouldn't go back nor could I recommend it. Shame, because it's fun, service super & bathrooms - wow!
THE BEST BREAKFAST PLACE EVER! I'm not over hyping this place. It is so good. Every time I go to Montreal I wait an hour in a line just to go here & have the truffle duck Benedict. It's so incredibly tasty. Also get the strawberry or watermelon mimosas 🤤
This is one of my favourite brunch spots in Montreal! I've been a bunch of times & the food & service is always great. I've also ordered delivery & the food held up well. The manager recently helped me out with a birthday surprise for my boyfriend, which showed it's run by awesome people too! Can't say enough good things, highly recommend.
Such an amazing brunch spot with absolutely HUGE portions. My family & I didn't know what we were getting ourselves into when we ordered a dish each because they were MASSIVE, we couldn't finish it all even though they all tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend to share a dish between 2 people if you are not big eaters. Even their drinks were large, they served the smoothies in a cup that's equivalent to a bowl. Also, their bathrooms are super fun & decorated.
One of best spots in Montreal to eat. We never visit Montreal without going.
Nice place, we went early during the week & there was no line up which is not the case on weekends. So if you want to experience the food here, come early during the week to avoid the long wait! The service was excellent & the portions are generous as we did not finish our plates. Surprisingly the taste was still very good even if we reheated the food the next day... especially the poached egg, the yolk was still runny! Worth the detour, a lot of choices on the menu. Not sure why there is such a big line up which is why it took us a long time before we could finally taste the food...? It is not cheap however the quality price ratio is very good, & you can request to take out your left over.
The food & drinks are good. However, the service was terrible. We were not ready to order & the waiter was visibly annoyed. When the food arrived I received the wrong dish. We didn't get our drinks until halfway through the meal. Meanwhile, we are sitting like sardines next to other patrons, just like at Schwartz Deli. They have great food, drinks, & presentation. Maybe they should go for less volume of customers & raise prices. They always have a line at the door & the quality is good enough that they can be more upscale. This place just feels off to me.
Very good place for brunch in Mont Royal area. Food was excellent. But mind the queue during the weekend. Only complaint would be it's a bit noisy due to the number of people.
Delicious brunch spot. Wish they were closer to home so we could go every week. The shakshuka was delicious, eggs Benedict was amazing, the sauce was delectable. All in all, amazing.
c'est bon, mais rien d'exceptionnel pour l'attente. Prévoir d'y aller avant 9h AM sinon souvent plein.
