De passage à Montréal, ce restaurant a été une très belle découverte. La file d'attente à l'extérieur parle d'elle-même. Je vous recommande L'Indécis, des crêpes au citron, ricotta & bleuets. Accompagnées de pommes de terre, d'un choix salé & d'une sélection de pain, le repas était copieux, & je me suis régalé ! Si j'ai l'occasion de revenir à Montréal, j'y retournerai les yeux fermés. Un grand merci à Yasmina, qui nous a servis avec le sourire. Son accueil chaleureux fait honneur à cet établissement !
What a fun place! The menu is very creative. The team is so nice & stylish! Everyone seems to fit the style of this very neat diner. The food was great! I had the California Omelette & the stacked pancakes with Nutella & Strawberries! Lots & lots of food but had to try both as they looked really good...& delicious they were for sure! The location is great. The neighborhood is live & bustling! I Will definitely come back. Kudos to the team & the owners of this place! The bathrooms are super fun actually! Disco themed...
En vacances à Montréal, nous avons découvert l'Avenue sur les conseils d'un commerçant du quartier. Les plats sont de très bonne qualité & originaux. & que dire de l'accueil ! De la gentillesse & des sourires qui font de ce lieu un endroit à découvrir sans hésiter. L'accueil québécois !
This is my number one go to brunch spot in Montreal. Never disappointing. The staff are very heart-warming & the food is mouth watering all day every day.

Habitant dans le quartier, je suis dans les rares à ne pas penser que cet endroit est un attrape touriste. Ma dernière expérience m'a fait changé d'avis malheureusement... Commençons par le positif, les plats sont délicieux & le service agréable. Pour l'enjeu du bruit, de la foule & des tables collées, le secret est d'arriver avant 10h pour éviter tout lignup! Le négatif: lors de la commande d'un plat, on nous a demandé ce qu'on préférai entre 2 choix. Nous avons découvert à l'arrivée de l'addition que c'était un supplément qui n'a jamais été évoqué, ni sur la carte, ni par le serveur. Ce comportement classe donc l'Avenue dans la catégorie des attrapes touristes, méfiez-vous & demandez si chacune des propositions coutent de l'argent 🙏
10/10 experience. The food was gorgeously presented & delish, loved having the indecisive options as a sweet & savoury lover. Our server Yasmina was super sweet & personable while maintaining the professionalism expected from L'Avenue. Would recommend the pistachio French toast & sitting in Yasmina's section🙌.

Finally, without having to wait at all on a Monday. Single friendly environment, & the food is great! Nice portion (I did not finish mine). The staff is very welcoming & attentive.
Definitely check out Shakshouka & French toasts - they're amazing! Plus, most of their dishes are great for sharing. If they want to make their food even better, I'd recommend focusing on the fries. They were too greasy & not cooked well.
