Service was good, the waitress was very friendly & let us know right away that there would be a wait as they were understaff. The food... Well that's another story all together. The garlic bread was fantastic, unfortunately that's where it ended. The calamari was clearly of the frozen variety & it was completely overly battered. It tasted like Highliner fishsticks & at $16 that was a lot to swallow (both figuratively & literally). I don't know what type of parmesan they use but it's definitely not regiano. As for the pizza, the crust was ok but there sauce reminded me of canned sauce & the pepperoni tasted off. We got the beer fries too at our waitress's suggestion but I don't know if those were freshly made as they tasted more like frozen fries... & again, for $10 they should've been a lot better.
All in all, maybe if I just want some garlic bread I may go back there but nothing else was screaming for me to return.
Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with this place. The food was just okay at best, nothing special for the price, & the portions were really small considering how much they charge. They even charged for the bread basket, but not all of our baskets at the table got refilled, which felt cheap. Drinks were $13 each & came out half full. For the money, there are definitely much better Italian restaurants out there.
