TLDR: great food, great service!
Finally I want able to restrain myself to take pictures of the food before I take a bite!
What a delicious meal! I ordered naan, dahi puri, eggplant, sagg paneer & the tastiest lamb biriyani I ever have! Everything was delishhhhhh.
Like the food, the service is incredible! The waiters are friendly & make sure that everything is at your taste.
If you like spicy food, make sure to ask for medium spicy! Once you eat there, you won't stop thinking about it!
We ordered the samosa, they were perfect. We also ordered the sweet butter chicken that we found it was missing flavors but the chicken so tender. We also ordered the lamb dhansak (which is not on the menu, you need to ask for it), we were disappointed when we notice it wasn't spicy. But as soon as we made those comments to the waiter, he offered to add it in the kitchen & afterwards we really enjoyed it. There was complimentary tea at the beginning with spices. Prices are what you would expect in an Indian restaurant. Would go again but we would be more precise about how intense & spicy we want.
I recently dined at Bollywood Restaurant & it was a delightful experience! I ordered the Malai Chicken, a perfect blend of tender chicken in a spicy, creamy curry, along with a Mixed Platter that featured an assortment of grilled tandoori items like chicken tikka, kebabs, & shrimp. Every dish tasted fresh & authentic, just like a comforting home-cooked meal. To top it off, I had their Peach Mojito, which was refreshing & perfectly balanced. The service was impeccable; the staff was warm & attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Bollywood for anyone craving rich, flavorful Indian cuisine. I'll definitely be back!
I discovered this resto when I just moved to Brossard a few years ago. It was off hours & we were ordering out. There was only a woman at the counter ( the owner I think ). I wanted a soup with lots of veggies & very spicy but there wasn't anything like that on the menu so she went in the back & whipped one up for me . It was the best Indian soup I've ever had! We were there for my birthday in May & the food was just great. We had the vegetable pekoras, vidaloo lamb & quite a few other dishes which I can't recall but were all delicious. They even gave us a dessert on the house for my birthday. Very nice people who go out of their way to serve you & always a pleasure to be there.
They have been consistently delivering the quality we expect, but tonight the lamb korma was way too diluted with cream, which killed the usual deep taste of the dish & made it heavy & lacking what makes us come back to them again & again for their lamb korma. The sauce is literally white when it's usually brown & spicy. The nans are undercooked as well, first time this ever happened with them.
Food is very tasy & delicious. If you like hot & spicy this is the place. Be aware: spicy is SPICY when you ask for it. My fave is Butter chicken but I also had tandoori which is excellent. Next time I will try the lamb & other curry. My first time here. I will come back for sure.
It is a small restaurant in a commercial strip in the middle of a residential area. But the place is very nicely Indian style decorated.
The owner is a young & very nice guy. He & the staff are authentic Indians. That told me the food was going to be good.
& I was not wrong, it was delicious, very authentic & savory. We loved every single thing.
To top it off they serve a spicy home made tea that was amazing. I hope they'll start selling it soon, I'd definitely buy.
I plan on going back in 3 weeks when the alcohol permit is in place.
