Wow, quelle belle expérience! 2 ième visite & la constance est parfaite. Je connais très bien la cuisine classique Libanaise & Babar la transporte à un niveau d'excellence. Décor épuré mais très chaleureux. On débute avec un Hummus "all dressed" avec filet mignon. Servit tiède avec pita maison tout chaud. D'une légèreté incroyable. Olives en side. Wow. Je déteste les olives alors imaginez! Ensuite pieuve, très tendre,grillée avec humus aux pois jaune. Dumplings d'agneau avec crème, citron, menthe & pomme grenade qui donne du croustillant. On recommande 3 à 4 plats max pour 2. Le concept est de vivre la tradition libanaise des repas du dimanche en famille. Alors on partage tout. Ils ont bcp de vins d'importation privée, les prix sont un peu élevé. 2 vins rouge à 58$/btle & on monte tout de suite à 72$. Je vous conseille les vins du Domaine Foura du Liban. Un service impeccable de Olivier. Très sympa, courtois & pro. On a eu aussi Camille qui est très souriante, ils travaillent tous en équipe & cela ce sent. Bref une belle 2ième expérience & on y retourne pour prendre l'assiette shish Taouk pour 2. Ha j'oubliais les desserts. Le pain perdu est une tuerie, le fondant un plaisir coupable sublime & la crème brulée parfaite. Il faut réserver, car toujours complet.
Delicious food with a good selection for vegetarians. The kitchen is creating some unique dishes, & I'm eager to return to sample more. Warm, friendly service & a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend.

This restaurant deserves each of its five stars. The food was exquisite. Coming from Chicago, a city which offers endless options for middle eastern food, I had high expectations & was not disappointed. The spreads: hummus, baba ganoush & esme were smooth & bursting with flavor. The shrimp were fresh & tasty, & the halloumi cheese salad with dates & honey left me wanting for more. I now dream of visiting Bromont, not only for the skiing but also for Restaurant Babar.
La nourriture était très bonne, le service était très bien & les employés étaient souriant & agréables! Les portions sont très biens, on sent qu'on en a pour son argent. Super place, je recommande certainement!!
The place was busy but they managed to squeeze us in. The appetizers were wonderful & perfectly sized for sharing. We only stopped for a quick drink & a bite to eat, but I shall be back to try more of the menu. There are many vegetarian options. Can't wait until next time!

Quelle belle découverte! Notre entrée de fromage halloumi grillé sur charbon était... inoubliable! Très bon menu! Service impeccable. Je ferais un détour par Bromont pour y revenir! 😄
Babar offers a delightful range of Middle Eastern cuisine in a place where its rare to find. While the meat was slightly overcooked, the overall experience was positive, making up for this minor flaw. The staff's friendliness added to the pleasant dining atmosphere.
Probably the best restaurant in Bromont. When we have events or family dinner plans we reserve here.

We enjoyed a fantastic lunch here at Babar, rue Shefford, in Bromont. Babar specializes in Mediterranean fare, & we ordered Pitas, une petite fattouch (small order of flat bread with mixed greens & vegetables), & all dressed Hummus. To say it was exquisite is an understatement; a sumptuous lunch in a most picturesque area of Quebec, is a wonderful memory. The server was fully bilingual, friendly, professional & informative, while the restaurant is well appointed & welcoming. When you are driving through this area, be sure to stop & visit.
