Boyfriend & I had such a lovely time here. We got a seat on the upper level which is a bit quieter & cozier, really nice spot.
The serving staff were attentive & warm throughout.
We ordered two cocktails, one being the Barbara Sour (I think that's the name) & honestly it was really good. Multiple layers of flavour, well balanced. Only thing I'd say is we could've used a touch more alcohol in both but that's a minor gripe.
Started with the falafels & they were amazing. Came with what I'm pretty sure was homemade pita bread & if it was, they need to make more of it. So fluffy, so soft, just really really good. Good size too!
We also had the octopus & the lamb. Both done really nicely, would highly recommend either. Portions were generous too which is always appreciated. Ordered a red to pair with everything & it just worked perfectly.
Finished with the crème brûlée which had a hint of orange peel running through it. Such a good touch, elevated the whole thing.
Genuinely had an amazing time. Easy 10 out of 10.
Its difficult to find a place opened on a Monday or Tuesday. This restaurant is open everyday. In Bromont you usually get Burgers & Fries. This restaurant is align with Montreal & Toronto Restaurants in terms of food quality & food innovation. The staff are amazing from front desk to servers. Our server was on the top floor, she was so sweet & provided perfect recommendations for our large group. The food is fabulous. We are so happy we got something other than Burgers & Poutine. The food is very special & authentic. We recommend the platter for 4, it has everything in it. The Beef was the star. Next time we are in town, we are definitely coming back.

Première fois chez Babar, je parle pour toute la famille ici, on recommande 100%. Excellent service & que dire de la cuisine, DÉLICIEUSE. Tous les plats choisis étaient impeccables. Nous devrons revenir pour en essayer plus.

Une belle découverte! Beaucoup d'ambiance ce soir là. Le serveur tout sourire, nous a guidé pour le choix. Nous avons commandé 4 plats pour 2. La trempette aux poivrons rouges avec le pita frais & les choux de Bruxelles étaient goûteux & délicieux ( miam). Les dumpings & la pieuvre étaient bonnes aussi. Nous avons passés une belle soirée. Je recommande ce resto.
Je suis allée chez Babar avec ma fille vendredi 8 août & j'ai été épatée! Nous avons commandé de la fattouch, de la pieuvre grillée, du kibbeh nayeh & les patates à l'ail. C'était DÉ-LI-CIEUX.
& que dire du service extraordinaire & de l'endroit comme tel, qui est magnifique! Je le recommande fortement & nous serons assurément de retour lorsque nous serons de nouveau dans la région. Un merci tout spécial à notre serveuse qui était adorable (j'ai oublié son nom malheureusement!). Longue vie à Babar!

Endroit magnifique avec un service incroyable. Serveuses, accueil, sommelier attentionnés. La nourriture est super bonne. Je recommande fortement. Les tables sont réservées que pour 2 heures, important d'en prendre note.

Restaurant Babar est une véritable pépite à Bromont ! Dès qu'on entre, on est charmé par l'ambiance chaleureuse & élégante. Le décor est soigné, avec des tons naturels, des banquettes en velours & une lumière tamisée qui créent une atmosphère intime & accueillante.
Nourriture :
Les plats sont savoureux, raffinés & parfaitement exécutés. Une cuisine inventive, fraîche & pleine de caractère.
Service :
Le service est impeccable. L'équipe est attentionnée, professionnelle & connaît très bien le menu. Mention spéciale au sommelier qui nous a conseillé un vin nature parfait pour accompagner notre repas. On sent une vraie passion derrière chaque recommandation.
Ambiance :
L'endroit est petit mais magnifiquement aménagé, parfait pour un souper romantique ou une sortie entre amis. On s'y sent bien du début à la fin.
Une adresse incontournable à Bromont - on reviendra sans hésiter !
This restaurant is unassuming on the outside but so very beautiful on the inside. There is sufficient parking on the street & I believe there might be parking behind the restaurant too.
The food was delicious. We ordered the cauliflower, the mixed dips plate, the falafel & the chicken plate. For the 4 of us the food was plenty & we had left overs too. They gave us hot freshly made bread & we loved it.
The service was top notch & all the servers were extremely kind & helpful.
Definitely recommend this place for a cute date or with family & friends!
Excellente première expérience. Nous étions deux sur l'heure du lunch & avoir ma pris 3 entrées a partager. Les 3 choix étaient excellents en plus de bières de la brasserie l'abordage (très local).
Je recommande absolument & j'y retournerai.
Absolutely excellent. Service was exceptional with frequent check-ins & cleaning of the table/changing cutlery, food delicious & nice ambiance. Some other reviews noted small portions though we found the portions adequate to generous. Would highly recommend!
Our whole family decided to have a post-Christmas lunch at Babar's in Bromont. The restaurant is located right on Shefford Street in town. There is convenient parking at the back of the restaurant but it is limited & somewhat tight. We parked on the main street, which proved to be an easier exit. One of our daughters made a reservation & we were seated on the top of two floors. Amongst the various dishes that were ordered, our family went for the fried cauliflower (excellent), charcoal BBQed halloumi (very original & very tasty), falafel plate (very good), & the lamb kebab plate. All the dishes were excellent & everyone was very pleased with their meals. The service was prompt & attentive & finished plates were promptly removed from the table, which was a small touch I really appreciated. This is a really great restaurant located in the beautiful town of Bromont. My wife & I will be back & we would recommend to anyone to give this restaurant a try.
