Club sandwich was okay but nearly got charged way over by accident but waitress spotted it luckily. Very close to omni hotel if staying there.

A wonderful discovery in downtown Montreal.

Located inside the historic MAA Club, LE 1881 offers a calm & elegant atmosphere away from the crowds. The dining room is stylish yet comfortable, making it a great place for both a relaxed lunch & a special dinner.

The food was fresh, well-prepared, & beautifully presented. What stood out most was the attentive & professional service - the staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, & very professional without being intrusive.

I also really appreciated how easy & convenient the online reservation system was. During busy weekends like Formula 1, I would definitely recommend booking in advance online to avoid disappointment.

The menu is not overwhelming, but thoughtfully curated, & the quality of the ingredients really shows.

Despite being in the heart of downtown Montreal, the restaurant feels like a hidden gem where you can actually have a conversation without shouting over the noise.

If you are visiting Montreal, especially during busy weekends such as Formula 1, this is a great place to escape the crowds for a while & enjoy a quality meal in a beautiful setting.

If I could put a 0 star id do it. The service was horrible & the waiter was not very friendly kept saying I needed to pay before I could eat & all!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Went there for my post graduation dinner with my family, the food is EXQUISITE!! So refined, tasty & authentic! We really enjoyed every single thing we had, especially the calamari, as well as the crème brulée. Service is excellent, & hats off to the chef! Thank you for making a great day even better :)

Emplacement , prix & quantité de nourriture impressionnante super service aimable & une ambiance décontractée. J'adore ! Les brunchs par contre se terminent à 11:30 un peut tôt ;-)

Scrumptious soup of the day (Sweet Potato & Curry) followed by Salmon tartare. Chef came out & shared the recipe which I'll be attempting once home. Highly recommend.

Mention spéciale pour le service : il a été tout simplement impeccable du début à la fin. L'équipe est attentive, souriante & très professionnelle. Je recommande les yeux fermés & j'y retournerai avec grand plaisir !
