We had a such a blast at girls night where they were super accommodating to our pregnancy needs! The food was delicious, atmosphere was so lovely & the service was exceptional! They were so kind, friendly & I am already looking forward to going back!
Great new changes with more seating from the primary concept!
Went for an early dinner with a girlfriend. Delicious winter menu. Cozy pasta & beef bourguignon but I loved the salad & dessert in particular.
Great service & the new dining room atmosphere was also impeccable!
Incredible. Recently renovated. Love the vibe in here. Service is great & so is their menu. Highly recommend
Excellent !!!!!! ⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?will definitely be coming back . Great hidden gem . The music is exquisite very classy
Our order came out wrong, & when we pointed it out, the staff made us feel like it was our fault. Instead of fixing the issue quickly, we waited another 30 minutes. No compensation, no apology. Very poor management.
Excellent food, well worth the visit.
It is a very intimate restaurant with only a couple of tables & some seats at the bar.
The service was great, there when you need them but not overbearing.
I had the focaccia, burrata & cavatelli in a white ragu sauce. I would recommend them all. The ragu was a 10/10. The dessert was also good- an olive oil cake with mascarpone whipped topping. It was very good- just not my favourite kind of dessert & it was the only choice.
I would highly recommend this restaurant & will be going back.
We came out from downtown Montreal having heard great things about Rendez Vous. As others have said, there were pros & cons to the experience. Overall, it is excellent compared to its surroundings but does not hold a candle to other places in the city.
The starters were excellent, fresh pasta perfectly cooked, & rotolo a particular highlight. However, the fall salad was a let down (a pile of leaves & some shredded cheese with little else) & the main dishes were lukewarm when served. I can't fault the service, which was friendly & attentive.
It's a place that holds great potential & I hope they continue to improve.
Amazing little place in Village. Support our young chefs. They are worth it! We loved it!
What a gem in Pointe-Claire village! We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious pasta dishes, salads & focaccias! The wine selection was lovely, our server did a great job explaining & recommending them to us. Will absolutely go back again!
I went to have dinner with my boyfriend on a Friday night, trying to find a hidden gem in Pointe Claire close to the lake & we
end up to this place.
Pros:
Small place & very intimate.
We liked that the chef comes & brings the food on your table when they serve it.
The kitchen is just behind the bar & you could watch the chef while they cook your food.
Cons:
We find that the main courses were lacking of taste & portion were too small for its price. The grilled octopus was over cooked & missing some spices. The rotolo tastes better although my boyfriend finds the sauce a bit bitter. Also, there was no salt & pepper either on the table or offered. Our server forgot the water when she told us that she'll give it after serving our cocktail drinks but we understand that she's alone serving for everybody in the restaurant. The strawberry spritz cocktail was too bitter for me.
We would love to recommend the restaurant but I think it needs more improvement of the food & service.
Delicious food & beautiful decor! I had the focaccia, the tuna crudo & the gnocchi with burrata. 🤤I was too busy enjoying the food to even take picture!
Stopped in here after being recommended it by our server at Lou's the other night - Wow! Who knew something like this was out in the west island?
Run don't walk to this quaint little spot that offers quality & fresh ingredient menu choices that are absolutely delicious . Hans was absolutely amazing & helped us chose the perfect cocktails & menu .
We had the summer salad & it was perfectly dressed & the fresh focaccia . Followed by the bucatini with shrimp & the grilled octopus was perfect .
What a surprise to have such quality food in the west island !!! Bravo 👏
We will def be back .
Check this place out. First thing you will notice is the staff love working here. From the moment we got in Han's had us taken care of.
Outstanding Drinks, Apps & Mains. If you like cool spots & great food you have to try this place.
Cute vibe to sit on the patio. Caesar would not recommend. Pasta & olive oil cake were good
Tuna Credo & Caesar Salad for starters. The Tuna was good, very small portion though. The Ceasar I didn't like. It wasn't really a Caesar to be honest, & tasted way too smokey
Bucatini & Rotolo for mains. The pasta is delicious here. We loved both. The meat in the rotolo was cooked to perfection & the dough was so good. However i found it could be a little bit bigger as a portion.
The 3 stars comes from the service, which should be a 1 star. We were sat down with no menu for 20 minutes. Drinks were ordered first, then another 20 minutes before they took our order. Waitress wasn't sure if we ate so started offering us desserts. We could tell she was overwhelmed but instead of taking action, it looked more like she was panicking. The bartender started taking over to serve us. Even in the kitchen there was confusion since I could see them go back & forth on the orders. Overall, was a mediocre experience.
I've been to many restaurants in Montréal, & this one has quickly become one of my favourites. Tucked away in an unassuming spot you might walk past without the address, but it's a cozy gem worth discovering. Once inside, you're met with a warm, welcoming atmosphere & friendly staff. The food is delicious-while the portions are moderate, the food is very tasty. The staff also offer excellent wine pairing suggestions. I highly recommend this place & will definitely be returning.
We were served by Hans & let me tell you the food is just fantastic & the service … was outstanding. For me an amazing restaurant
